  1. It looks every bit as professional as the awesome simmod A-10A from what I can see.. A question though; will new 3-d models and/or skins for missiles, drop tanks, etc. be included (like some weapons for the simmod a-10?)

  7. Hmm, I think this can happen if you're using nav mode while locking bandits in the eagle.. Is it the exact same amount of time every time before it breaks lock? Does it happen every time you lock someone? It might be your stick, your setting or keybindings or some hardware conflict..?
  8. ECM is like a ARH-magnet at closer ranges. Turn it off as soon as you're done with the energy phase of the fight and start locking and shooting.

  17. Learn what the shapes of Strelas, Tunguskas and Shilkas looks like compared to tanks/APCs/trucks/artillery/etc trough your AGM-65 crosshairs. Even more; learn to be extremely paranoid, and that your biggest nemesis will probably be igla-armed soldiers. Very hard to spot, even with the AGM-65D seekers, and you need visual of the launch to even know it's coming. And if you do, you normally only have 2-3 seconds to flare and evade. Do like case said, learn to ID your targets, and ALWAYS scan around for IR launches. Oh, and learn to study the briefing map before clicking fly, checking headings and distances between target zones and relative to waypoints.

  20. 1: Would AMF for all flyables be too much to ask? 2: What Yoda said. 3: Make known exploits impossible. 4: Maybe implement some of the community-made mods, like simmod terrain/airfields/a-10a, 3go su-27, tekateka coastline mod, Yoda's mod for objective-based multiplay, etc.. (if the makers are willing, offcourse..) But most important by far is missile performance and flight models!

  22. I'm talking about what's possible in lockon here, not in real life. But ok I'll bite.. Lock up #1, fire R-77. Guide it for 2-3 seconds. Break lock. Lock up and fire R-77 at #2. Guide for as long as possible. Not good odds for #1 but the best you can do I'd say. As for the skills involved with ET kills, I agree with GG and Yoda 100%. It's rediculously overpowered.
  23. Simplest way to kill 2 guys in the 29S is firing an ET at one of them, locking up #2 and firing a 77, keeping him locked for as long as possible.. AFAIK the ET is no use supporting with radar lock, the R-77 will get underway-updates to it's course like the AMRAAM.. Correct me if I'm wrong please.
  24. Wow, the possibilities with this is mindboggling! A server can run 3 different missions with buker-complexes as primary targets in one mission, an awacs/tanker flight primary in the next, runway takeover in the third, even combinations of theese or different types of objectives for each side to create different tactics!! This is what lockon needs online! I truly hope this will be accepted and used by the community; lockon can become the best online sim ever!
  25. Yeah that depends on game version, since Flaming Cliffs for instance gave sams better self-defense-capabilities.. I haven't actually finished the campaigns, so I can't really help with that part, as I'm used to a human wingie and human opponents.
