Try tightening the lower grip screws, I had the same issue, it was "clunking" around the WH grip adapter. Tightening the lower grips bolts helped with that. Don't overdo it though, I think they might be easy to strip. If it happens again I'll take the grip apart and look at if there's a way to shim it to keep the clunk from happening, as it's really annoying. Below are some graphs with VKB_Joytester and DXTweak. It's good to go after calibration, mine has a lot of small noise around center, so 1-2% deadzones helped in DXTweak to get that to go away. So far my fav application has been flying the MiG-21 with the T-50, feels like it was meant for it! I have the medium springs, soft-center cams, and 50mm extension. With how the spring tension works I can almost judge AoA by feel, great stuff!

yes, this was pitching up beyond trim control. I'll have to revisit my curves and deadzones possibly, pretty sure it's a config issue.

Anyone have any tips for calibration? I got my T50 yesterday and installed the two-dot cams, and softest springs, with a 50mm extention. My goal is to set it up for fast-jet control with a short control throw. My first quick testing flights in the su-27 were really...off, the jet just wanted to pitch up completely, like the T50 was sending constant Y-axis spikes to it. Axis curve tuning showed it was fine though, but for the life of me I couldn't get it to fly straight. Is DXtweak the preferred method of checking what the stick is sending out? Any help appreciated.

Hi Andre, I'm a happy customer from your shop, I blame myself for hitting checkout before knowing all the options is all!

I wish I had known about either the "modded" or "Sim" version if they are that much better, I didn't even know there were options other than the standard JetSeat. Any way to get mine up to the "modded" spec? Tried it for the first time last night and it's pretty cool, especially for helos! One thing I noticed is that the dial on the controller doesn't seem to change the motor level, and the slider in the application didn't do much either. Do I have to change the individual levels inside the application to get them turned down some?

Any news on US-bound shipments? Just curious how you're ordering things for dispatch. Not trying to be annoying, just VERY EXCITED to get my hands on the T50! :thumbup:

What do your seat setups look like with the VKB/Monster-Tech combo? I have the same setup and to get the stick comfortably close to me, it requires the stick to be a little too tall for ideal placement. If I put it lower, I'd have to reach too far for the stick. Only way I could remedy is to maybe cutout a section of the middle of my seat, so I could have the mount lower, and be able to move close enough to the stick/desk. Just wondering what your setups look like when you're sitting in them. Any info appreciated! pic of my stick setup. You can see that the mount juuuust skims the top of the seat.

[edit] Oops you aren't using the extension...so try single springs at first I'd say? STILL NEED A SHORTER LENGTH EXTENSION THOUGH :):):) rrohde, will VKB sell the separate 3-prong adapter set (what's installed at the top and bottom of the Pro extention). This thing just needs 2" off of it to be perfect, is all!!!

Anyone here looked into chopping their gunfighter pro extension? going to disassemble mine tonight and see how difficult it'd be to hack ~1" or so off of either end.

Ohhh, I am gonna have to that setup now. Currently running 2x#50 with #10 cams with a bit of damper dialed in, and it feels great. The precision near center-stick is amazing, but just a little too "floaty" for my preferences in fixed-wing flight. However, I think 2x#50 with #10 cams might be the ultimate helo stick. Flying the mi-8 and ka-50 never felt so good! This stick is a revelation! Well done VKB.

Sorry I should have been more clear: Everything works, all axis's/etc. I loaded up the WH profile according to the instructions and didn't get any errors or anything. I have the WH grip installed and all buttons are functional and mappable in DCS. Just no green light! edit: When I first plugged in the Blackbox usb to my computer, and during initial configuration, I had a blue and the green joystick light. It was only at some point after loading the WH profile, and calibration, that the green disappeared.

What's it mean when the black box only has a blue LED lit, and not a green one? Everything looks to work, however??? buttons too on the WH grip.

Got mine last night and initial impressions of quality and attention to detail are excellent. I ****ed up and lost one of my warthog trigger springs when doing the adapter swap, but that was the only hangup. I didn't have time to test fly it but hopefully tonight, need to get some bolts from the hardware store to get the mount to the point where I can use it. The only thing that is immediately clear is for my setup, I'm going to need a shorter extension, the 20cm is just too long. Are there any plans to offer different lengths? I guess I could fab one out of the existing extension and it's connectors....

Got my tracking number and it should be here Tuesday! Does anyone have a photo or diagram of the base? I need to figure out a plate for my monstertech mount. They sell a mount for the gladiator/gladiator pro, but I think that's a much different base in dimensions. EDIT: Nevermind!
