I don't know about the date and size on that one. I never had any problems, or reports from anyone with any problems with the cursor or anything else. 1. I have 2 mics also. My Rift and Headset. They both work. I don't think you need to train a profile for each. But if you have problems you could try it? 3. There used to be a program called WSRProfile.exe that could backup your Recognition Profile in Windows, but my link on my desktop(Win10) says it's no longer there. I read online that MS no longer supports it. But your Speech Recognition Training files are located here, and you could back that up. C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Speech\Files\TrainingAudio

Ah-Haa!! Thanks for that. I figured out that I had to taxi right up to the runway. But I was not crazy, there was something wrong. :doh: EDIT: Just noticed that your link was for the Stable version. We were playing the OB. But I still figured out that I needed to taxi to the 'correct' runway! LoL

Wow! Awesome!! I had the 'flashing' Comms Menu too for the past, well... since I decided to try using VAICOM again about 2 weeks ago. It would just appear and disappear every minute or two. I posted about it, but Hollywood had no ideas how to fix it. But that video fixed it. Just had to re-set the path to my OB again. Weird!?? I had the correct path in there. Just had to do it again, and now not Comms Menu appearing. This looks like a bug to me. And I did not do extensive testing. Just flew the same mission that had it flashing last night. And this time no flashing at all. Good luck with fixing your problem FZG. :joystick: BTW, the way the guy in the video has his game installed is crazy. It is messed up!

I'm a bit of a noob with the radios. So, one more question.. Why do the airports have 4 frequencies? Is that because not all aircraft have the same kind of radios? How do I know which frequency to use? When I was learning the F/A-18c on the Nellis AFB, while in game I went to the F10 map and clicked on the Nellis icon, and tried the first frequency(327.000) and I don't think I it would let me enter it. The second frequency worked(132.550).

When it gets displayed on the DCS Kneeboard it can only be as big as the kneeboard. How big is your kneeboard? The max height for most people is 1080, and the width needs to be about .843 of that height, so 910 pixels. And if you only have one monitor, that would cover up half of your 1920x1080 screen. I have triple screen so I can go 1080, but the text is too small to easily read. Here is a single page extracted, and one that I doubled up. I don't use them because they are hard to read for me. :smilewink:

Are you sure KBB didn't fail integrity Check when moving/resizing the kb? AFAIK they change the same line of code. I haven't used KBB for that in months.. I used to get random crashes on loading KBB. It would work fine for weeks, then start crashing on load, or when selecting a profile from the systray. Since I stopped using it to size/move the kb from the systray I've had no problems. Ok, I put in a ticked on this .bmp.dds and .tga.dds problem. Apparently they have it fixed. Here is what they said in reply to my Support Ticket: So I would not go off and fix all your liveries.

Chuck's tutorial pdfs are landscape when converted for the Kneeboard Builder are small. The text is hard to read. If you really want to try and make it work, I suggest editing the files that the KBB extracted and putting two on a page, stacked on top of each other. And then resize your kneeboard as large as you can make it. I did this with one of his tutorials, and it is readable on my triple screen. But it might take up too much space on just one screen. I don't use the one that I made anymore.

Yes, it's dumb, but that change fails the MP Integrity check.

Thanks for the replies! I was using DXT5 but for some reason Gimp didn't work. The working files were 512x512, and somehow my files change to 513x513. I had Paint.net on my pc so I used that and change the size and it's working now. Thanks again.

I'm just trying to make a new dashboard photo for the P-51D. I am using Gimp and open the mustang_photo.dds and when I save it, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't show up for some reason. Are their 'rules/settings' for dds images in DCS? Do they require some special compression, or size or something? I'm just hit or miss with this..

Yes, no problem! You will have to EDIT the .lua to change the position and size x, y, w, h... Here is mine for my triple screen. dedicated_viewport = {4852,0,908,1076}

I have always had problems with this app saving the kneeboard size and location. So, I just use a mod to do that, and use this app for organizing all my kneeboard files.
