Is the RIO seat working yet, and if so, how to I enter it?

If a Mission Maker 'adds' his own commands to the Comms Menu's F10 sub-menu, then they will be imported if you have that option selected 'Import F10 menus' within the VAICOM settings. Have you ever flown a mission where someone put some commands in the F10 menu? On some servers I've flown the Huey where they have added F10 commands to load Troops, or load equipment so you can transport it. Then when you land you can Deploy the troops or equipment. You won't see these commands on the F10 menu unless the mission maker added them. ;-)

On the Settings / Controls there is a 'HTML' button that saves controller commands for you to view.. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk

There is a guy who activates the catapult, right? When I am stupid, and forget to unfold my wings, he would see that and not let me launch, right?

It should work in multiplayer. But I don't think users without the mod would be able to join the mission. I wish this and some other mods were just built-in to DCS.

And were you using VAICOM? I made this video and sent it to Hollywood_315. I noticed the Comms menu consistently opens and closes when turning the Battery to ON/ORIDE, or the APU to ON. And it doesn't happen if VloiceAttack/VAICOM is not running. He is interested in looking into this. So, have tested all my aircraft, and out of my 20 clickable aircraft that I own, the Comms menu opens when I spawn into the pit on almost all of them. But, the only aircraft that opens the comms menu with clicking switches is the FA18. So, I wanted to ask here if others flying the FA18 when they see this and are running VAICOM? So, that I can document this better, so he can focus on that aircraft, if that's the problem.

By chance, are all of you guys flying the F/A-18c? Or have you had this problem in other aircraft? If so, is it worse in certain aircraft? Today I noticed that in the F/A-18c, I can constantly open the Comms menu by just pressing the Battery switch and also the APU switch in the cockpit. If you just continue to click them, the Comms menu Opens and Closes constantly. I tested the A10c and AV-8B and did not have this problem with these switches. If you get a chance please test this for me. Thx.

If you mean SRS and VAICOM, I would like more info also. I don't use SRS yet, but from the manual & video I saw I am confused if when you press tx1 to talk do both vaicom & SRS hear you at the same time? A video of it in use would help. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk

I don't know if this is what you are looking for. But I made a pdf list of the commands a while back that can be imported into the KneeboardBuilder app. And also a Summary cheat sheet that I display in a window on top of the game when I need it. VIACOM PRO Command List.rar

Check out this thread. I asked other users how they used all these voice tools together and got an enlightening response. Basically he has 1 hat. When he presses forward it pressed the PTT key for VAICOM TX1, and also the SRS key to select Radio 1. He does the same for the other hat presses for TX2/SRS Radio 2, etc.. So, he can press hat forward and release it to select SRS Radio 1, then press his SRS PTT button to talk on SRS on that Radio. --Or- he can press hat forward and hold it to talk on VAICOM TX1. I have not tested all of this yet, but it's an interesting idea to save button space on your hotas. Also, VAICOM has a new feature to use your TX1, 2, 3.. as SRS 1, 2, 3.. I don't quite understand that though. He doesn't explain it well in the manual, or his new video, or in the post replies that I have seen. But he must have it working I guess..

Yes, I saw the other post where you mentioned that. Thanks for the reply. My missions folder is organized, so that would only save me 2 clicks of the 7 I need to do. A recent files list would help a lot when testing with backup and alternate versions of a mission. And of course the recent missions you are working on. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk

With both Stock and OB installed, I have my missions folder in a different 'central' location. So it never loads up the last mission. Or the last folder.

Is it possible to get your Callsign & current ATC?

I keep saying "Two, Engage Air Defenses", and it doesn't recognize Air Defenses(even thought that IS the Command Segment), the command in the Command List is 'Air Defense'. So, when I try to add an Alias(Air Defenses), it keeps putting a '1' after the original command and makes my alias 'Air Defense1'! :joystick: I tried making Alias for other commands with the same results. It ignores whatever I type and just puts a '1' on the end of the original command. :mad: I don't understand how to Add New Alias I guess. How do you add and a new Alias?
