  1. Sometimes, I'm wonder what the heck is going on... All I was saying was: "Two, Engage Air Defenses"
  2. Yep, I got it 2 weeks ago and I think I had to fix a few things. PM me and I can send it to you. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk
  3. I tested this in both the Stock & OB with the HAWK, SA2, and SA10. They all have smoke trails on their missiles. But the Rapier does not. I setup a mission on the PG map about a month ago and remember seeing the smoke trails on the Rapier missiles, so I wonder why I don't see them now. It's a shorter range missile system, but there still should be some launch smoke. Also, I wanted to put some Ammo Depots in a PG mission, but I'll need a sprinkler system to keep that grass green.
  4. I am a bit confused about when this is needed? The manual gives an example of a 'Steam' DCS install having custom location. And also mentions that the Windows Registry has the install locations... My DCS & DCS.OpenBeta installs are in a custom folder called 'C:/My Programs/'. So, do I need to use this VAICOM option for a custom location? I'm guessing no? If yes, then I need 2 options. (I'm asking because I am still trying to stop the Comms menu from constantly popping up in the Stock & OpenBeta.) Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks. I now see that the Debug checkbox is checked. I don't believe I had that checked before. Not sure how it got checked. In any case, the Comms menu still continues to pop up on it's own. It seems to be doing it less than before. I guess there could be more than one thing causing this problem.
  6. Thanks for posting that. I've been having problems with VAICOM popping up the Commsn menu all the time, and also DCS crashing. I just checked and my shortcut has the Admin checked. I saw in another thread that they re-imported the VAICOM Profile and it fixed their problem. So, I just did that. Before I re-imported the current profile, VAICOM's log would always only show 'something' like this: 4:09:31 PM - Plugin 'VAICOM PRO 2.5' initialized. 4:09:31 PM - Ready for commands. 4:09:31 PM - License: PRO 4:09:31 PM - Plugin version 2.5.8.4 (release) 4:09:31 PM - Initializing.. 4:09:31 PM - Press LCtrl+LAlt+C for config. 4:09:31 PM - VAICOM PRO for DCS World. License: PRO 4:09:30 PM - Plugin 'HCS Elite Plugin v2.12 - (c)2018 HCS VoicePacks Ltd' initialized. 4:09:30 PM - Plugin support enabled. Now, After I re-imported the current profile, the log shows all this. Which is normal??? This seems like it's doing too much stuff.. Does it really need to'Reset' all of those .lua files and 'Executing automatic lua code installation' ever time it starts?? It's fine if this is normal, but I have never seen it have so many log entries since I started using VAICOM PRO a year ago. 4:09:31 PM - Plugin 'VAICOM PRO 2.5' initialized. 4:09:31 PM - Ready for commands. 4:09:31 PM - Startup finished. 4:09:31 PM - Chatter start. 4:09:31 PM - Chatter initialized. 4:09:31 PM - Resources added. 4:09:31 PM - Adding chatter resources.. 7. Maybe you have some other app using some of those hotkeys? (LCtrl+LAlt+C) And blocking them from being seen by VAICOM. Have you tried stopping all the apps that you can in your SysTray to see if one does this? I had a similar issue with some audio hotkeys being blocked by some other audio software. I removed it and it fixed that problem.

  9. You could take a screenshot when the map is displayed and paste it into Paint on the 2nd monitor? PrtScr : Ctrl+V Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk
  10. Just curious, do you know exactly which LUA files get 'Reset'? Is it the /Scripts/VAICOMPRO/VAICOMPRO.export.lua File? I doubt that DCS would ever change that. And my Export.lua looked fine. I just did the reset, and started a mission. The Comms menu popped up again, and I closed it. This happened a few more times and then stopped. Still not sure.. Time will tell.

This profile has been available for months. For some reason the link to it was made very hard to find. For now... Look here.
  12. The resolution I saw was to select your Beta Folder again. Someone posted that re-selecting it fixed this problem. What lua code are you referring to? The Export.lua?
  13. Try turning up the Ansiotropic filtering. That affects lines in the distance. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk
  14. Was reading this thread, looking to see if someone had made a Catalog of the many objects of this Mod, when I stumbled onto your post ... any chance that you can share that lua file? :) Is there any chance that you did get a copy of that lua file to make the Infantry move? I just spent 2 hours trying to figure out why the 'Vehicle' infantry will not move. I thought I had a problem with the Initial Heading; Start Time; Visible Before Start; some Trigger; some Adv. Waypoint... I thought I had them moving in the beginning, but must be mistaken... Argg... Why are these even in the 'Vehicles' menu thing? They are just static objects if they don't move. :joystick:
  15. Every time I open the mission that I am working on, I have to navigate to my mission folder. The game doesn't remember the folder where I opened my last mission. Annoying.. I have the Stock and OB installed, so I have my missions in a separate folder so I don't have to keep track of 2 copies of the same missions. But DCS always starts in the root Missions folder of the version I am running.. and that's NOT where I have my missions. Before the 'Open' Dialog windows were updated a few months ago, DCS used to remember my last mission folder. It worked that way for many years. BTW, when you just open a Mission from the 'Mission' item on the Main Menu, it does remember the last folder where you opened a mission. Thanks!
  16. Yea, what's up with this not being fixed for 7+ months? I still have an old "note" in my Startup Checklist to set this up after takeoff.
  17. Just did a quick test and that did seem to fix it. I hope this 'fix' continues to fix it. I've seen this problem posted in the VIACOM thread, but I've only seen one resolution that some say fixed it. It didn't fix it for me, but it seemed to because I had to exit VA and DCS and restart them. :music_whistling:
  18. Just got around to testing this with my VKB Gunfighter MkII Pro. It seemed to work both ways. I had it snap on target at first only if I pressed the TDC Press button. And later it snapped on target by itself. I think it would help if people would post their sticks they are using. This fix may have started because of the Warthog stick, but mine needed a solution to this 'hold down' issue as well..
  19. I've had that for a few weeks now. It only seems to happen when I have VoiceAttack running with VIACOM. I'm not sure if it's VIACOM or VA. Or maybe like you it's just DCS?
  20. I've posted about this before, but still do not see it in the RAZBAM Bug Tracker. You probably don't see this if you don't have triple-screens. But the edges of the Visor appear at the edges of the screen when you are not wearing them. I assume the devs just moved them off-screen when they were not being worn. But that does not work on wide screens as you can see below. Can we get this put on the Bug Tracker? It seems like it would be an easy fix.
  21. Awesome! Thanks!
  22. Thanks! I had the F10 Map set in the Mission to 'Fog of War', but that didn't hide the Enemy. I guess with modern jets and radar, they are not in the 'Fog', and not hidden? I set it to Allies only and it worked!
  23. I checked the checkbox on the enemy flights for 'Hidden on Map'. And they are not seen on the map. But you can still see them in F2 view.
  24. I know this is an old thread, but I was also trying to make a Static Object disappear, and this didn't work. So, I wanted to post how I did get it to work... StaticObject.getByName('Static F16 #001'):destroy();
  25. This has been known for a long time. You cannot put Static objects inside any building. They do that. Annoying.
