  1. Thanks, I didn't know that. But it shouldn't cause a bug if you have it commented out to use the full screen for the UI. But I had to comment it out so I could use the ReArm ReFuel menus in the game. so it's a Catch22.
  2. Have you considered making it an app so you could open/close/resize it with hotkeys? And make it stay on top of the game window when it's visible? You could still embed an browser container in an app if you want.
  3. This idea made me look at my small wireless Logitech M185 mouse that I never use. I wonder if I get another one and take it apart, I could attach it's buttons to a glove and move my thumb over the laser to move the mouse and then click. I see BestBuy has them for $9.99. I could switch the original off and the glove on. Worth a look I think...
  4. I don't know why this doesn't work for you guys. All I did was comment out the UIMainView line. See pic below..
  5. You really need some QA testers for Multi-Monitors! These bugs are unnecessary and have appeared and reappeared over and over again. Very unprofessional IMO.. Shadows on Triple Monitor:
  6. Hmm.. OK, thanks for the info. Never expected that answer. I would expect the pilot would set all switches since he's checking them. I assume they aren't worried he'll forget those things.. So there must be some reason for this procedure. Are all aircraft in DCS prepped like this for a cold start?
  7. Strange. It worked for me.. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk
  8. I am just curious... When I do a cold start, why are so many switches in the On/Test position? SAAHS Yaw, Pitch, Roll, Q Feel; Fuel Prop; Gen I am not a pilot, so maybe there is a reason? Is it because the last pilot was drunk? Or maybe just lazy? Or is this just one of the many ignored bugs in this aircraft?
  9. Go to your Monitor Setup folder: DCS World OpenBeta\Config\MonitorSetup -or- C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\MonitorSetup open the file that you use, and comment out this line by putting two dashes -- at the beginning: -- UIMainView = Viewports.Center
  10. Nope, I just installed the Hotfix and then saw this thread and tested it. Still broken. But you can do that hack posted above. Then your menus are on all 3 screens until it's fixed..
  11. Same. Can't even click on a weapon because the popup closes before I can mouse over it..
  12. The current beta notes don't mention it. But the 3 monitor bug that put the Hanger on the wrong Multi-Monitor screens is fixed.
  13. I too am frustrated with the lack of progress, news, and updates on the AV8B. I have posted about the missing change log info that never makes it into the DCS Updates. The last real update in the DCS Logs were on July 4th. Also frustrated with the lack of progress in the RAZBAM Updates. That last update was a joke, really? Updated the RWR sound? It appears nothing serious is being done. I'd like to fly the AV8B, but don't fly it anymore because of this. And have decided not to buy anyone's Early Release's anymore. They get your money, put it on the back burner, and start working on something else to get your money. Very Frustrated...
  14. The VKB manual says that one axis can 'move the center' of another axis. Thus trimming that axis within the stick's hardware. I cannot get it to work. I can get one axis to move another axis, but not move the center point to trim it. I have posted on the VKB forums about this and am hoping on some clarification. Maybe it doesn't work that way, or maybe it's bugged?
  15. Hmm, I think you are right Bob! I've had my GF MkII MCG for 6 months and never understood that, or seen any posts on anyone doing that. But in the manual in section 3.5.2 it says: And if you search the manual for 'trimmer' you will see explanations of how the center of an axis (on the stick itself, not in any game) can be changed(trimmed) using another axis (of the stick). So, it's the hardware of the stick affecting another center point of another piece of hardware on the stick. Totally within the stick. Very neat! EDIT: I followed the instructions in that section to try and get the Master Mode Vert Axis (Rot X) to trim the Pitch (Axis Y), but couldn't get it to work. The Rot X axis moved when the Pitch was moved, but not vice versa to trim the stick.
  16. Yes that is strange when they fix something in the stock game and not in the beta first. Must have been an easy fix. But it was not even mentioned in the update notes. So you would not have even known it was fixed in stock unless you tested it.
  17. Still porked in today's Open Beta Update. This is really annoying to have menus appear far away from where you click! Can this be fixed ASAP? It doesn't seem like it would be that difficult...
  18. You can do it manually with this mod. Kneeboard Size & Location (INTEGRITY FAIL).rar
  19. Have you tried downloading again? Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk
  20. Ok, so now this bug has been propagated to the Stock game version in yesterday's update!!
  21. So are you saying that it is a known issue that you should stop between missions and wait for the shaking to stop? IDKT Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk
  22. Hmm, I'll try that when I get a chance. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk
  23. It works ok for several minutes. 5, 10, 15 minutes. No, it does not stop shaking if I pause DCS. That's usually my first indication something is wrong. It doesn't even stop if I Exit DCS. I always exit DCS from the main menu Exit button, or from a mission sometimes I select Exit to Desktop from the popup menu. I was wondering if I made the module to run as Admin if that might help? But I don't know where the .exe is located. I think I remember searching the registry to find it one time, but haven't had time. But I doubt that will help. I just booted up and started DCS and received this .NET Framework Error (Unhandled Exception has occurred in your application.. Click Continue or Quit). I've only received this error rarely, maybe once every week or two.
  24. For months now the SSA Module hangs/locks up when flying. Does this happen to anybody else? Is there any fix to it? I have to close the window or stop the task to stop the shaking. When I click on the window I just get an hourglass. I have to right-click the Taskbar icon and click close or End Task on it.
