I know there was a aggressor squadron and the preview I read of the book Red Eagles implies heavily they had more than just the F5s, and did have a aggressor squad. maybe not as advanced as ours, but we teend to be snooty in the US twds soviet aviation. For example if anyone uses quora youll to this day find people claiming as fact that the soviets had to 'draw their gunsights on the glass' and other wonky propaganda myths. ISTR some things they got wrong badly and some they got alarmingly right. the apache scored high as did the abrams. ironically the F111 scored fairly low, though in gw1 they destroyed the most tanks of any air platform. However he noted that the squadron felt that thered be absolutely nowhere worth landing as the world would soon end with nuclear escalation. 'worse' still, he said that immediately they felt it was a suicide mission not only because the insane airwar thatd be occurring and Soviet IADs, (he said he feared the ZSU 23-4 the most of all) BUT ALSO flying back to FRIENDLIES. remember thered be dozens of nations involved! apparently consensus was that if you somehow broke through the iron curtain, delivered your nukes and didnt die, and were flying back and successfuly reached the front youd probably be shot down by jumpy ground troops, or foreign soldiers. thank god all that never happened. I also often think of my childhood in Germany, and what I know now. Id have been dead before people even knew there was a war, its near certain the Spetznas had tac nukes planted near every major NATO base in Germany, especially air bases. nevermind the million other ways you could die. ANYWAYS, sorry to ramble all.

ok so essentially the RP and PPs can be used for navigation waypoints however it seems everyone misunderstood my question and inadverntly answered it SO BASICALLY - you cannot easily f10 mark something and then name it say RP 1 and then select waypoint 31 (or whatevers right) and youll go there as a nav point....? am i right? you still have to manually enter all the coords.. which makes it the same as entering waypoints any other way and i dont really see where youd want or need to do this

sir, as I stated previously, I can easily use the UFCP to enter coords. HOWEVER, im unable to use f10 to put in WPs in flight, as in put in a f10 marker as RP1 and try waypt 31 or whatever is relevant. others say it works but it doesnt for me. i must be missing a step? The reason I ask is sometimes typing in the entire coords takes too long, or w.e for example in HBs F14 module you can add a marker on the map, and have the AI rio add it as a WP. the Jeff doesnt have a rio, but thats what Im looking for basically - f10 marker with RP or PP 1 and able to use it to navigate to in emergency.

well back to the OP Jester using lantirn or eeven just lasing/lgbs. I know this can or will be very hard with all the possible grnd targets - all I can think of is perhaps making it so users can place like 3 map markers, and you can order jester to lase primary, secondary, or tertiary. if you drop u drop otherwise its a buddy lase. or adopting that mod someone made awhile back Jester interrogate (IFF) cmd

this is why I offer the track. all thats done. Im not new to this. it only occurs very infrequently, and when it does always seems tied to that particular mission. For example it always happened in this DCS mission until skipped. as i stated clearly once this bug occurs you will die no matter what, Ive had the canopy open engine off.

weird. I did all that and it didnt work . I must have messed up somewhere along the way. shame, its easier to do it as a f10 marking but since I Got it right using old fashion coords in the ufcp maybe ill stick with that ironically i cant, no matter how many tutorials and reviews of chucks guides, get the ck802 and Gb6 to work in some modes right i think its much like a problem I Had with the f14 when i started as a mp rio i couldnt get inputting WPs to work. EVER. Until one day I realized every tutorilal and video told you to press clear just one time. and if u did, it didnt work. I think this may be similar. one small step.

its the first i heard of it it makes me wonder - i once saw a soviet list of all allied and sov equipment with a number of effectiveness given for all. starting with like .5 for a t34 the highest allied jet was f14 with 2.0 i wonder if that was from the tests? I wonder if it happened and what the Sovs thought they apparently did have their equivalent constant peg program (theyd be fools not to) and we know they sent WSOs and RIOS from NAM to the USSR never to be seen again (or the PRC) we also know they went to great lengths in korea to get a downed f86 for example

I was just playing the jolly rogers campaign. unforunately it gives zero freaks for the radio 1. is there a way in f10 in flight to find out freaks? 2. is it possible that perhaps in the future just how jester can 'tune TAC' and then tune the carrier or mother we can have also 'tune flight, tune wingman, tune package?

99% of the time never occurs but that 1% No matter what I do i die i believe in this track, I turn on emergency o2 then ram air and put it in a descent f not I just die in f10 I can reproduce this though It seems to get stuck on 'that' mission - it happened even on the ground in a DCE mission until I went to a totally diff mission Even descvending below 10k stops it, but then it occursagain and still kills!
