What about A6s? i was reading fascinating accounts of the mining ops in Desert Storm with A6s. escorted by F14s. We NEED a6s. Especially as they figured HEAVILY into ANY F14 plans ESPECIALLY 70s and 80s. And what about the Forrestal? I know you guys cant really say; but I reallllly feel like ED told you guys to knock it off with the Forrestal because SC. Frankly that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Any info would be greatly appreciated especially on the A6. the plane is near to my heart. and I vaguely remember you guys saying you were trying to get rights to model it. Ill definitely fly the A. It heavily outnumbered the B until at least the mid 80s. A lot of cold war scenarios are for the A. and the A isnt as bad as people think, just pit it against contemporaries and know what youre doing. And as you said - Iran. I have the DCE Tomcat IRIAF campaign. Im dying to have it be 'legit' by flying an A instead of a B.

I never claimed to be a comedian. Im very active on this and some other parts of ED. I figured itd be more or less obvious I wasnt being serious. Anyone whose read *any* of my content would note that the 'ignore the whines' etc is totally out of character for someone who is hard on ED> and it wasnt supposed to be lmfao material, it was just a joke, suppposed to be a little thing. good points mind I wasnt saying put jester in and name it jesterski and job jobbed. I meant Jester as the pre alpha base and working from there.after a year or two, itd be almost unrecognizable. For example a Polaris missile is the progeny of a V2 (many generations..) but i f you looked at it, besides the obvious of both being rockets you wouldnt see any similarity.

my guess is either the sight has an easy range finder (almost imagine the slope on the dragonuv sight) or some such. I think missiles are wired guided. Ill go google the missiles and brb

See the fact is this, this isnt about being reliant - this isnt oil or coal. its a code. They simply ask or buy Jester from HB and build on it. Why not??? The Chinese copy foreign tech all the time. We and the Russians stole Nazi scientests. Just because the owners changed the results didnt! HB whether anyone likes it or not did what NO ONE else has done. They made a *FUNCTIONAL* co pilot. It seems *INSANE* that ED wouldnt Build or at least heavily interact with HB about 'lessons learned' I understand again, not being dependent, but ffs this isnt geopolitics or war. HB is a company sellng DCS products. These statements confuse me - exactly what are these 3rd party companies to ED then? yeah its sorta ridiculous the Gazelle multicrew is broken and you have to jump both seats. its doable in the gazelle but... The thing is I dont think these companies look at DCS quite like we do. We see it as one sim, I think they all see themselves as seperate entities and I hardly think HB will just share Jester code without some financial arrangement. In the end they are businesses. Thats also why they cant just take Jester and build on Jester, which if you think about it would be the most expedient method - altering the already existing jester and building on him for the mi24 from the getgo. it would have been a hell of a pedestal, Im not quite sure it works like that though. I mean the quality (IMO) of modules from some of the companies is A LOT better than others to me at least..

interesting. I dont have much to say besides I really really hope political correctness or worrying about what sex the pilot is doesnt get involved in any way shape or form in the development of the mi24 module. Theres literally almost anything else I can name in the world thats more important to flights sims than bringing up female discrimination and spending time adressing it because political correctness. I do lean more towards liking the idea of variety, and especially with the radio; but I couldnt and still have trouble overcoming the negative emotions your suggestion evoked when you brought up sexual discrimination...
