Can someone be kind and explain to this old noob how to send chat messages to other players in MP? I have people trying to communicate with me and I don't know how to answer them. :(

Hi, Started flying DCS A10-C about 4 months ago and am really enjoying it. The forum has led me to invest in the TM Warthog HOTAS, and I waited the 3 months for MFG Crosswinds. My next and final consideration is 3D. My question is DCS A10-C 3D friendly? Does it improve the experience of flying DCS A10-C enough to justify the expenditure? My system is compatible with NVIDIA 3D vision 2. Is anyone using those ? Thank you

I have been flying DCS A10 C now for about 3 months without rudder pedals. Just got the MFG Crosswinds. What a difference!!! So glad I waited for Milan's fine product. These are a solid, high quality build. Well worth the price and the wait!!! Thank you Milan!

Too bad, it was a mission I would have liked to have seen in it's entirety. I don't know if my wheels shredded when I touched down on the runway, or were lost by the SAM strike. When I landed my gear was intact but my wheels were gone.

Another thing I noticed watching the track, during the first part of it, my head movements were recorded accurately, then my head movements while I was watching with my TrackIR on my head took over, weird.

Great, so why when I have a question about how I profile a weapon or something, do people ask me to post the track? It must be working for some people

I created a fast mission and took out three tanks with GBU's on three separate runs, then got hit by a SAM, I sustained enough damage that it took me out of the fight but was able to successfully land without wheels, I was proud enough of myself that I wanted to save the track however, when I watched it, instead of diverting to the nearest field and landing, the track showed me getting blown out of the sky.... What's up with that? This is not the first time my track has been altered.

OK, problem solved! I selected the weapon using the Master mode and DMS left/right and it worked like a charm! Thanks guys!

Hi Guys, I've been doing a lot of practicing with GBU's lately and am hitting my targets consistently. The only problem is I can't get the auto laser to work. I have watched the tutorials, done the Precision Guided Munitions training mission repeatedly where the auto lase works. I go into a mission, enter DSMS, open the weapons profile page, scroll down to GBU 12, open the profile, change delivery to CCRP. Open change settings page, turn on auto lase, enter a lase time of 12-15 seconds, and save the settings. I climb to 12000-15000 feet, find the target on the TGP, run the release cue down the PBIL, hold the weapon release button at 10 on the countdown. The weapon releases, when the time of impact reaches my desired lase time; nothing. I then manually lase with the NWS switch and hit the target. It's not a big deal because I'm hitting my intended targets, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I agree rick, I ran boats for the state for over 22 years. At the end of patrol, we just turned off the battery switches. Next time you got on the boat, turn the switches back on and all of the electronics, radios etc. were good to go. Although failing to turn off pitot heat on a plane could damage things maybe? I don't know, I have no experience with planes in the real world.

I guess I got the practice campaign without realizing it; I entered the BFT Qualification Campaign and was thrown into the Practice Flight pattern mission, which I already qualified for. The next step in my quals should be Advanced Maneuvers. Also, when I do go into the practice flight pattern mission, I am in the air when I start the mission, shouldn't I be at the ramp?
