I'm running 1.5.3.52478, I go into campaigns and there is the BFT qualification missions but, no practice missions for the qualifications.

Sabre TLA; is there any way I can get the practice missions?

I never did any of the practice missions, there weren't any when I bought the BFT missions. I made it as far as advanced maneuvers and had to give it up. I don't have any rudder controls which made things difficult. Good luck

I just got to the point where I feel proficient enough to try multiplayer flying and keep getting bumped off of a free flight server. I'm wondering what might cause that to happen. It seems to just happen on one server in particular.

At the risk of sounding stupid, can someone tell me what the mail symbol on the left part of the screen with the number above it in multiplayer is? I tried a search and couldn't find anything on it. Thanks

OK, 513 thanks. Can you recommend a server that would be NOOB friendly? OK, so I went ahead and jumped on a free flight "no engagement" multiplayer server and got hosed with machine guns by a guy in a helicopter as I was on the ramp going through my checklists! And he was on my side! Fun!

Hi Ian, No, I don't think I'm ready for multiplayer. I did go onto a server as a spectator, but didn't stay long enough to figure out how to "spectate" Another thing with this "Smerch Hunt" mission; the wingman follows you down the runway and just stops in front of you. You then have to inch around him to takeoff. Doesn't seem safe to me maneuvering that close to another plane.

Hi, I'm about two months into DCS A10 C and have gotten to the point where I'm starting to fly single player missions. I started with "Smerch Hunt" and am having problems. I start the plane and check my weapons load in DSMS and it shows an empty inventory. However when I do a walk around, there is a full load of stores under the wings. I call the ground crew for arming and nothing. What gives?

Disregard, I found the right ENG OPER switch on my HOTAS set to "motor" accidentally, reset back to "NORM" and engines start now. Sorry

Suddenly I can't start my engines either

I had the same issue when I first started flying, turned up the textures and now everything is crystal clear

Hi, I am fairly new to A10-C and am getting frustrated with the weapons that use optical seekers for targeting. I set SOI to SPI try to lock on the target and many times before I can get a lock, I get a GIMBAL LIMIT message. What are the actual limits? Is there a diagram anywhere that shows where these weapons can see in relation to the plane? What is the best way to approach a target that allows the seekers to see the target? If I have weapons with seekers under each wing is there a way to switch in order for the other side to acquire the target? Thanks

I'm considering ordering them. I don't have any foot pedals at the moment and am new to flying SIMS. I imagine they increase maneuverability a great deal. Can anyone tell me how much of a difference they make? Thank you

THe zoom is already on the mouse wheel, just double click it to turn in on and double click again to turn it off

Thanks bigian and congrats on the pilots license. My goal as a newbie is to fly in an on-line mission but, at the rate I'm going, there won't be any servers left running when I have the skills to do it! :cry:

Hi, I am using the Thrustmaster HOTAS in DCS A10C and the trim switch doesn't do anything in the SIM. Is this normal or did I get a bad stick? Thanks

I'm sorry I don't know how to do any of that. I got terminated for turning off of course 300 onto 220 after being instructed to make the turn if that helps. I started the turn exactly when I was told to.
