Did you select the radar altimeter as primary source? The flashing B means that the radar altimeter is unavailable and therefore the barometric altimeter is used. This can be because you are flying to high or your bank angle is to large.

Hey! I just found this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=203614 It solved all stuttering and joining problems for me. The game is smooth as silk now. It is just a bit annoying to manually trigger the RAM trimming periodically. I can finally play online again.

I am having the same problem. Multiplayer is mostly not enjoyable anymore. That makes me very sad, especially so short before the launch of the long awaited F/A-18C. :(

Let us all calm down a bit. Getting new players into DCS should for all of us multiplayer players be a high priority. After all it is other players who make the game alive. Although I will not buy FC4 I do not care if my opponent flies a full fidelity sim or something simplified as long as it feels realistic to me. The advantage of "dumbing down" existing modules is that the development time most likely will be drastically reduced, which frees resources for full fidelity modules (and hopefully a better net-code and some performance optimizations :smilewink:) In fact I think that one big problem of FC3 right now is that the best aircraft for A2A combat are FC3 level. That excludes people like me, who only fly full fidelity modules, from having a competitive aircraft (although the M2K is already quite nice :thumbup:). This problem is finally addressed with the release of the F/A-18C. The only thing I hope is that the multiplayer freeze and performance issues are fixed in due time since it got quite unenjoyable for me.

What seems to help a lot for me is the following: I join the server, which crashes my DCS - but this gives me a track file which I can then convert in a mission file. Then I load the mission in the mission editor and run it. Afterwards I join the server again and it seems to work smoothly. Tested 3 times so far on the 104th. Worked all of the three times. I don't even think it has to be the exact same mission file, but any large mission is suffice. -

Out of curiosity: I am reading here from a lot of people having problems with a large variety of hardware. What about the operating system? What OS do you use? I am using win7 x64 and have big issues in multiplayer. My rig: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition @ 4GHz GTX 1050 Ti 4GB 16GB DDR3 RAM 850 EVO SSD I am running at low to medium settings. I tried even setting everything to minimum - same behavior. In single player I get 150 fps. The largest time chunk is needed for the "Simulation" part (~30ms) according to the built in diagnostic. The rest goes real quick (<5ms). This does not explain the freezes and memory issues though. Edit: Btw. I created a poll asking people over at /r/hoggit whether they experience problems in MP or not to get an estimate on what percentage of people is having issues with MP. I am also having huge issues. Very often I cannot join at all. If I can join the game freezes within an hour. :( -

Concerning the GPU: I use exactly the same GPU on two different PCs for DCS 2.5 and it works just fine. I get way better FPS than in 1.5 with even more demanding settings.

Maybe you should recognize that not everybody in the team stands for such strategies before releasing a statement as the one above. Blue Flag would be the most fun with everybody playing fair, no matter which team they are in. It is ridiculous, how people use such strategies even in testing rounds, where there is nothing to win. -

We just experienced a massive amount of lag on the server, everybody was basically just hovering. I also noticed that someone was spamming troops on a recently captured farp (a strategy that I strongly dislike). Could there be a connection? -

What about choppers that can put down defenses but cannot carry troops on captured airfields? That way capturing airfields in the vicinity does not become too easy but defending them is much easier. -

I agree lag is a thing happening frequently in DCS. But for whatever reason Arcus33 becomes invincible in many engagements. Even if it is not a cheat, the issue is gamebreaking. I have made a video of the issue which I will only make public with the permission of Arcus33. -

It is not about you knocking anybody over. In fact I sent you the link to a video showing the issue. It happened quote often already and it is gamebreaking. Sorry but I guess you have to get the issue sorted out on your side in order to allow a fair gameplay. -

Please don't - it currently is the only blue high fidelity fighter. I agree that the damage model needs some work but it is still WIP anyway. (Btw. flying M2k without wings does not work) -

I strongly disagree. Yes the SU-25T is free but should that mean all roles utilizing payware should be redundant? I think not. In fact blueflag is a multiplayer experience that requires extensive communication. Therefore I don't think a single player should be able to capture anything.
