  1. I guess we will have to wait for one of the ED to tell us about this. I do not know
  2. I can't account on how often it is/was used, only that it was used.
  3. Again, using the first video I posted. That is a clean F-16D block 50. Why does hew need trim? A number or reason. That specific aircraft normally need ruder trim, the way the rudder Integrated Servo Actuator (ISA) is rig, a quirk of that specific Digital Flight Control Computer (DFLCC), the way the airframe behaves, etc. There is no specific answer. All the F-16 I ever work on, the only trim that was always center (when I inspected the cockpit) was pitch, and that is because at 60knots wheel spin, the pitch trim is suppose to center automatically.
  4. Here the pilot trim at 5:34, another 360 video The argument would be that non of these video show a USAF F-16C block 50 circa 2007, that is a valid argument and that is why I do not know if it applies to DCS.
  5. First video I posted
  6. Here at :53 sec, you see the pilot trim while maneuvering the aircraft. I did not set the video to the time because it is a 360° video, so once the video starts you will have to move the camera to see the control stick.
  7. In the RL F-16, it is normal to have to trim. Here you can see the pilot trimming the rudder at 2:08 Not sure if it is BUG or not within DCS since I am not sure if it is modeled or not.
  8. When the aircraft is in NAV and the Landing mode and the Uncage Switch is depressed and released the HUD Heading Scale should moved to the UP position and the Roll indicator, ILS bars Flight director symbol and DED data (if present) should be blanket out. The HUD will return to normal when NAV is exited, Landing is exited or Weight-on-Wheels

  10. Caucasus map single player When rearming on the ground, external 370g tank pylons are installed on the aircraft. This pylons are suppose to be installed, removed and jettison with the tank as one unit and would not be mounted separately.
  11. Guys, ensure the "hot mike" switch is on on the AUDIO 2 panel and intercom volume is up
  12. Weird, I did not get that. What map did it happen? single player or MP? All weapons load or specific one? Started cold or running?
  13. I would. Just need battery power, a com cord and a head set. You should be able to talk to ground crew with canopy close, that is how we launch them.
  14. Yes, only available in OB as of right now.
  15. Are you using Open Beta?
  16. Caucasus map Single player Canopy actuator not connected to canopy.
  17. Caucasus Map Single player Ver 2.5.5.36986 LEF should be at 2° up during cold start. LEF do not "droop" down without Hydraulic pressure.
  18. AB behave as if engine was above 50k.trk Caucasus Map Single player version 2.5.5.36986 As far as I can tell. It appears some aspect of the engine behave as if the engine was above 50K. For example: In sec, rapid throttle movement causes stagnation. Additionally, seems to only reach Min Aug. Min Aug characteristics are nozzle position between 5% and 40% open. Only reaching Max Aug at mach 1.80 (nozzle pos at 50% to 70%)
  19. To clarify Does your nozzle open in AB? Does your fuel flow increase? Or does the external view not show the AB? engine control in PRI?
  20. Caucasus Map Single player Starting running from runway Engine placed in SEC mode. Throttle snap to mil RMP fails to rise above 70% FTIT has a rapid rise through 750C With engine on SEC, Rapid Throttle movement should not cause this effect. This is normally checked during aircraft launch.
  21. RPM is not specific for AB. The only thing to to watch is it should not exceed 106%
  22. Talking about the sidewall panels. The plastic panels that are a pain to install. You have to go around the throttle and some times trim them. The picture you post shows gray one, look on the side, behind the throttle on the photos I posted.
  23. Which ones specifically? What year did they start doing this?
  24. As I explain here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4054292&postcount=20 Talking about the time to align, method would change. So, on the line or outside of the HAS, with Good GPS signal, You can just put the Knob in Norm alignment and move on with the launch if using and EGI. If inside the HAS, you would have to set GPS not track, then enter the coordinates manually before starting the alignment. Then immediately prior to taxi, deselect GPS no track to allow the MMC to reset the GPS. Non of this would mater using RLG, GPS is not a factor there. So STOR HDG alignment will have different time also In the end it doe not matter in DCS. Last time I saw no GPS/GNSS coverage was in the KA-50 years ago in DCS. I have not seen this in a while.
  25. By the way, I do not believe this is a real cockpit since it has black side walls and the serial number has been blocked, but the photos showed the canopy details I wanted. Note also how new all the dials, switches and knobs look. Just wanted to point that to those than can't tell the difference real cockpit and a fake one.
