  1. ah ok, i see, thx @AeriaGloria
  2. SPO is designed to not react to friendly radar (SAMs, Fighters...), but in DCS all friendly radar are a threat ? I know that SPO can sometime do mistake (friendly as a threat) but it's all the time. In fact for me this SPO has no utility, or i am missing something. If at least it can do the difference between enemy or friend radar emission, i think it's a minimum. It's for the 2 modes (automatic & stock WP)
  3. ^ This.
  4. any news from ED? It's 1 year old bug ...
  5. Sure, you should do the same with F-16, F-18 and so on, with metric sytem, because imperial system is so .... well, obsolete, outdated, it would be more confortable for me, but for now i try to avoid all planes with imperial system.
  6. I already asked for this 1 year ago : but no news.
  7. We can hope for KA-50 IV......
  8. Yes, it's better, but always too much instability on the yaw axis. Lol, why these changes about FMs then, docs and proofs have change since last year ? Docs and proofs don't do a FM, it's just a basis, but FMs are so much more than that, and yes, the feeling is part of how good a FM is, or not.
  9. It wasn't by "choice", but imposed by ED. This is not a viable situation for DEKA and its customers. We were used to fast, and great support, and this will have a negative impact on DEKA and its modules. ED have already a lot of work with theirs modules. @uboats should be able to at least, work on the weapons bugs, and this does not prevent ED from making weapon's changes, if they wish.
  10. Whatever the release altitude (2000, 3000, 5000, ..) and dive angle, the cansiter opens at 1.2s and CCIP/CCRP are way off. jf17 mk-20 bug.trk
  11. Thanks for confirming the bug. It seems that the canister opening time must vary according to release altitude and dive angle. someone has made an interesting table, take a look https://flyandwire.com/2022/08/05/the-mk-20-rockeye-cluster-bomb-observations/ I will made a bug report to ED but they don't seem to be very reactive to treat the bugs, then i am afraid that we will have to wait a long time.
  12. and since then, nothing has been done by ED ?
  13. Here is the track jf17 mk-20 bug.trk
  14. I don't miss anything, i was asking about release parameter (if any, never use this bomb). But it's seems to be a bug. Whatever the release altitude (2000, 3000, 5000, ..) the cansiter opens immediately and bomblets are released. In my post, I specified, "they don't seem to work properly. " so the minimum a person should do before replying would be to check if the mk-20s work properly and the method used (CCRP, CCIP, Dive angle, speed, and so on). Then perhaps someone can confirm it's a bug or there is a special procedure to use them ?
  15. Can someone explain how to use the mk-20s, they don't seem to work properly. Thanks
  16. @Chizh do you think, it's necessarry to add propaganda to propaganda ? Do you think that people are stupid enough to trust these type of articles...ok.. yes... a lot :), but not all. This one make me laugh "It's widely believed that superior pilot training was the main reason why American F-86 Sabres consistently gained air superiority over technically superior Russian MiG-15s in the Korean War."
  17. Yes, if your speed is > mach 0.8, it's near 100%
  18. ^ This. DCS is just an hollywood Game, then don't expect realism. Actually, the mig29 flies like a sausage, no stability on the yaw axis, do some slight rudders inputs and see what happens, even a simple roll input causes an over-reaction of the yaw axis. And the drag coefficient, lol, with an AOA angle>12° the MIG is a lot more draggy than a delta wing jet like the Mirage 2000, just hilarious FM. In DCS the MIG-29 is not a competitor in Dogfight, funny isn't it.
  19. @Karon your (translation) manual is very well done, very useful, many thanks.
  20. jf17 ls6100 bug.trk
  21. The new "Map alt" could be great, but it's bugged jf-17 map alt bug.trk
  22. Chinese manual ..., ok thanks @tekwoj, i will translate the relevant part, but @Napillo seems to be refering to another manual ?, since he give me the advice to read it once, otherwise his remark would be just .... well ....plain stupid.
  23. Manual ? What manual ? I have a quick guide (from DEKA) and and the thunder guide from (Chuck) In the thunder guide i can read : "2. If RWS or VS mode is selected: a) Slew the TDC (Target Designator Controller) over a desired target and press the TDC (ENTER) to transfer from RWS to SAM mode. This is NOT a radar lock; you have merely set a target as the HPT (High Priority Target), which is represented as a circle. Other SPTs (Secondary Priority Targets) will be displayed as well without a circle. b) Press the TDC (ENTER) a second time to radar lock the desired target to STT (Single Target Track) mode. c) You can unlock target by using the S2 Sensor Control Switch DEPRESS" That means : for RWS or VS mode selected : first DTC press-->SAM mode, second DTC press-->STT mode
  24. Locking a target in VS mode go directly to STT (not SAM), Bug ? jf-17 vs stt.trk
  25. @Dr_Pavelheer good point.
