joystick binds are still not available with OB 2.9.0.47168 hoping for the future!

what graphics card do you have? i use DLAA with .8 sharpening.. and it looks great i have 7800X3d and 4090. also using openxrtool kit for meta quest pro

im happy to report that the recent Simshaker Aviators beta release 2.6.9 has resolved the problem with simshaker output when firing the doorguns and the "Number of provided pylons doesn' match PayloadLlst" error no longer exists IT WORKS PERFECTLY NOW! Thank you @Flappie @=Andre= @f4l0 i only wish u guys can experience using a doorgun like joystick controller with DCS and having the shake effects with it! its amazing!

I don't know guys, after patch 2.9, it seems like the gun sparks from the cannon are less pronounce

after recent patch, 2.9.0.47168 both DCS.exe in bin and bin-mt goes into multi thread preview. since in multi thread, the NS430 VR pop does NOT appear at all when pressing LShifit+LAlt+B

I had one user say they had good results setting their VR headset at native 1.0 no supersample, but rather increase the pixel density in DCS VR settings. Currently I do the opposite, my DCS pixel density is 1.0, and I scaled up my meta quest pro to 1.3x.. What are your settings

i just bought 7800x3d eariler this week. system passed memtestx86 i picked this becasue "A Ryzen 7900X3D has two six-core chiplets, but only one has 3D V-cache. Only one chiplet can game at a time, meaning it's really only a six-core CPU when gaming. The 7800X3D has one eight-core chiplet with 3D V-cache."

i just tried it in VR with the 2.9 OB update. it is STILL UNusable and annoyinh\g with the the NS430 floating in front of my face...

i have two issues currently with NS430 in the recent update a) NS430 popup in VR does NOT appear (via LShifit+LAlt+B) when running dcs from bin-mt for Multithread Preview. Single thread version works OK b) with the NS430 popup working in single thread, the NS430 is still floating in front of my face, please make the NS430 popup remain in a fixed position, just like the FPS counter, the SRS overlay, the kneeboard..etc, etc.. PLEASE!! the floating NS430 is annoying to use...

ended up getting 7800x3d. but jeebus the motherboard was more than the chip! yea, all this talk about parking cores, turning off efficiency cores for the intel, process lasso, all seem cumbersome for the intel side

I use simshaker aviators (free) in conjunction with simshaker sound module (paid) to push audio to my bass shakers. I can not sim without these

with black friday so close, i should wait a month and open wallet. though im tempted to just get the 7800x3d now!

i had to get away from DLSS due to the ghosting with 5800x3d/4090, im good with DLAA

testing diy doorgun joystick function unable to map UNCOUPLED AIMING ON/OFF under the UH-1H drop down menu (keyboard command for this action works OK) when i left click in the field under the joystick column, its is blocked out.

leaning on 7800x3d. at least i can upgrade for 8800x3d and not be stuck..

disabled OpenXR toolkit, i have DLSS and DLAA on, not crazy about the ghosting that occurs on moving objects and moving your head in VR.. have to find the right combination of what to turn on and what to turn off..

tested controller in open beta 2.9, nothing broken everything works amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Huey Doorguns thru player joystick controlled is like no other, combined with the tactile feedback of the bass shaker... it is just fun shooting the M134 in VR

the ability to map/assign joystick to the axis commands for Kord Doorgun UP/DOWN and LEFT/RIGHT did not make it into the recent open beta 2.9 patch when i go to the axis assignments under the Mi8MTV2 gunner and Mi8MTV2 TrackIR Gunner drop down categories in controls settings, i am unable to add assignments to the Doorgun UP/DOWN, LEFT/RIGHT, also clicking under the joystick column does nothing.. please mention to devs @Flappie

tested on recent open beta 2.9 joystick controlled Kord Doorgun working quite well along with Virtual Reality. the DLSS visuals look cool when tracers hit the ground down range! hopefully the simshaker issue will be fixed, that is the only thing missing is the bass shaker effects!

@Flappie one of the Simshaker Reps identified it as something on the simshaker application end. he was able to replicate the issue and will forward to the simshaker devs.. so i will check back then they have something.. hopefully in the next simshaker aviators application update!
