  1. Thanks BIGNEWY. Sounds a bit like the blur I get in my brain sometimes.
  2. If I was you I would hold off buying the Dora until late July because next month I will probably be buying it. Normally things go on sale 2 weeks after I pay full price :)
  3. What does "Boken" mean please?
  4. When nothing is available for release how about if ED release a patch with nothing in it to keep some people happy about having weekly patches released?
  5. I too am starting out with the P-51 and after a few weeks honing my take off, landing and making myself dizzy skills ventured onto the server last night. Took me ages to find anyone else and when I finally did I remembered how much of a coward I am and ran away. After showing everyone how great I am at flying at high speed back to base I confidently lined up for landing only to completely forget my training and hit the runway at an impossibly fast speed. Crash. But boy was it exciting :) Back for more soon.
  6. I used to have an old ford fiesta and it was imperative that you rocked the car near the rear left wheel arch before attempting to start it. That certainly wasn't mentioned in the handbook but if you didn't do it it wouldn't work. Certainly a bug. Sort of on thread ;)
  7. Perfectly happy Steam user here and so far all the "shit" I have bought on there from ED for DCS world is working beautifully. It may be behind the newest releases but at least what I buy is very stable and I don't need to be an IT specialist to make it all work. Still, everyone to their own :)
  8. May I ask why not?
  9. Gary, If it is still important for you to start in a bunker you can create (like I did) a simple mission and select any airfield that has these then it's possible to place your Su-25T inside them. I did this to practice the whole start up, rearm, taxi, take off, wander around a bit and land thingy. Very basic but was useful to me. Runway numbers haven't been around for a while. You can get the numbers from info on the map by clicking on the airfield. As an aside I would be interested to know if your kneeboard works properly with the Su-25T? Mine is stuck on the first page.
  10. Such a relief to find you were talking about your virtual pilot and not yourself when I opened this thread. Anyways send him my best wishes and hope he's feeling better.
  11. Fluent English speaker here yet I didn't understand a word of that
  12. I like stuff like this, right up my street. I have a memory like a sieve so tailor made for me :) Thumbs up from me.
  13. No solution sorry but I also have this same problem with other modules, mainly those in Flaming Cliffs.
  14. Firstly thanks for asking the question. I love the idea of developers asking these questions to gauge ideas. I voted yes even though there are few maps that could be exploited properly by this module. I hear the argument about why make a Falklands map or any other map people suggest when there aren't the appropriate aircraft in DCS to use it. Then a little later I read another thread (here for example) saying why make a module when the map to take advantage of it isn't around. Someone has to get the ball rolling one way or another ;)
  15. I don't need anyone to keep a record of my planes status. I just look at the end of the runway to see all the burnt out wrecks of my Mustangs.
  16. I'm new to DCS and only have a handful of modules. I know eventually I'll end up with them all but every time I log on I have a mood for a certain aircraft. For example I love the Ka-50 but occasionally I feel like flying something other than a helicopter. Similarly with the P-51d, when I don't feel like getting chased around by German planes I get in a modern jet and swoop on the locals. I really do love them all and expect by doing so I'll never fully learn how to fly one of them properly. Keep up the good work everyone, I've never enjoyed myself so much in front of the screen.
  17. Hasn't the F-86F Sabre only just come out of Beta yet it's been on sale through Steam for a while?
  18. Fair enough. Doesn't look like that bloke in the red jumper is as keen on them as you though?
