  1. Did not know that, thank you! Linking it on the gadget would help with visibility :P
  2. Suggestion: What about an Blueflag Discord? I find the forum format rather cumbersome especially for quick discussions/questions and longer conversations. Maybe one of the admins could make one with 3 simple channels like general/suggestions/questions. I could of course open one too, but it doesn't make much sense if the admins aren't involved :)
  3. That's great, and all we need until we can rearm on the street! Thanks!
  4. Great suggestions man! +1
  5. Hi, loving the seasons and time changes so far, great fun in the harrier especially at night! I noticed you changed the layout of farps to just helipads. This sadly is a huge problem for harrier pilots. Even though we have default loadouts now, we can't short takeoff from roads like at ambrolauri farp because there are light posts and powerlines in the way. And what if we want to change our loadout? Now you what do you do? Vertical takeoff to hover over to the helipad? You are too heavy because of the default weapons, which you can not jettison on the ground. Dumping fuel works, but even if you make it over to helipad with a severely overwheight (2000 pounds over max hover weight) harrier, what do you do then? To be able to take off from that helipad again you would have to use an extremely light loadout to stay below 20700 pound, which is the max hover weight. The airframe alone weights 14000 pound, add to that fuel, water, weapons and sensors and you can imagine that you can not take a lot. This is why in real life harriers almost always do a short takeoff. A loadout light enough for vertical takeoff is just too light to do damage. So to be able to have effective harrier ops you need to provide enough room for a short takeoff. Like, for example, a farp! See, with the old farp layout it was way way easier: You could just start up on the road, dump some fuel to get below 20700 pounds and hover over to the farp. There you would rearm and refuel. For me that often would mean 2 sidewinders/sidearms, 2 agm-65, 2 rocket pods, a jammer/lightning pod and a gun pod (Depending on the mission). Then you could just do a short takeoff off of the farp, like you would off the deck of the tawara. The advantage is obvious: You had your own loadout, enough fuel and did NOT have to stop at an airbase which just defeats the harriers purpose of being a close to the frontline cas aircraft. Now I am proposing to still use full farps at farps with harriers at them until we have a on-the-road refuel and rearm system provided by razbam. As always, thank you very much for your hard work, I'm just nitpicking ;)
  6. Two things: The reason the harrier is vtol is so it can launch close to the front lines. It would be very cool to have the harrier at more farps, because at the moment Sabuli and Ambrolauri is too far away and it kind of takes away the advantage of using harriers instead of non vtol strikers from airbases. Second: Why do we still have to fly at noon in summer? Most people think 2.5 looks way better with more interesting lighting and at autumn/spring. All in all I'm having a blast in blueflag 2.5 thank you very much for your hard work!
  7. Yeah, put the mirages on red. There has been barely any red players in the last couple of days.
  8. Harriers at Sabuli have default radio freqs, no way to communicate on simple radio :( And no weapons availible I think
  9. Hey, I was wondering if you could change up the weather a bit. Now with the wonderful lighting and better clouds in 2.5 it's a waste flying at noon in summer without clouds :)
  10. Is that currently possible?
  11. Now that Blueflag is down and we have time to think I wanted to ask if we can get weather. Flying no clouds minimal to no crosswind all the time is pretty boring in my opinion, and removes a lot of skill and planning from the game.
  12. Hey guys, lag got a lot better, now it only occurs when there is A LOT of players online. I´m sure this has already been talked about, but what about weather? Flying in Summer clear skies little to no wind all the time is getting a bit boring, I want some crosswind landings and clouds :D And another thing, why are there currently no tankers in the missions? There has been a couple of times where a tanker would have been very handy on those long cap missions in particular. Thanks, Fritz
  13. Lag is getting extreme Hey guys I noticed in the last couple of days that when above 25 pilots are online lag is getting extreme. We just lagged into each other just standing on the runway. If the server can´t handle 30 Players, don´t build your mission for 30 Players! Formation flying of any kind is damn near impossible atm. Thanks for your hard work, Fritz
  14. Titel sagt eigentlich schon alles, wir haben lust mal mehr als nur zu Zweit zu fliegen, deswegen meldet euch gerne :D
  15. Go RGB, and if you feel like it use green [emoji14] Gesendet von meinem E6653 mit Tapatalk

  22. I think haveing one or two dedicated IFR Servers would work very well. There are easily enough"hardcore" simmers to fill these servers. Gesendet von meinem E6653 mit Tapatalk
  23. Have you tried model enlargement? Gesendet von meinem E6653 mit Tapatalk
  24. It is hard to spot ground units in real life with the naked eye, especially if they are trying to hide. Pilots used binoculars, nowadays targeting pods obviously. So use the zoom a lot :D
  25. Ich benutze auch steam. Du kannst dort auch eine DCS Gruppe für dich und deine Freunde erstellen.
