Ok I give up, Just wasted another hour on this. Landed on roof flew back to base. Hovered over the crowds/people, landed in front of flags/people/moved around. No acknowledgement of completed mission!! I quit mission and guess what, it starts again from first mission.This is just a massive waste of my time and totally frustrating. How can I progress without having to keep repeating the same thing over and over? Without trying to be rude I have to say that this campaign seems like an exercise in frustration.

Ok thanks for advice, I landed ok on the roof, I get that it's not meant to be easy, just that i think it needs to be made clearer what is expected. So any way after taking off I then returned to the base and landed and shut down, waited and nothing happened so i quit the mission. Now when i load the campaign again it takes me back to the first mission! WTF? It shows 1 mission flown with 50 mission success rate. This is meant to be enjoyable! I am just finding it very frustrating. What hoop do I have to jump through now to move on? Not impressed so far...........

Thanks guys for your help, will try again. Seems very sensitive, first time i tried the mission failed and building burnt down :) Even though my helicopter was fine!!

Very very frustrating. Have flown this mission twice now and am about to give up! Looking at the briefing I presume I have to land on the flat roof of the building? Really not clear at all. When i approach to try and land I get a mission failure message and i end up going through the roof and crashing the helicopter. At the moment I feel that this campaign is a waste of money. Please give me a clue to what I should be doing.

Yea, real shame they didn't include any IA missions for Syria in other aircraft. Hopefully this will be added soon.

Wow, That was some fantastic flying. Must have taken a lot of practice. Outstanding display and very like the real thing. Great job, I really enjoyed watching the display. Do you use VR may I ask. How do you get such precise control, I am very sloppy on the controls when i try 4 point rolls, etc. Very impressive watching your manoeuvres.

Hi all, AAR is fine, but with the gear down I have trouble flying circuits, the response seems way too slow, even at over 200kts I really struggle lining up for landings, seem to need a lot more airspace than in real life. I have to plan the turns way in advance. or I will overshoot due to slow roll and pitch responce. FYI I am in config 1. With gear up all is fine. I now lower gear much later when on finals or lined up with runway. Hope this gets fixed.

Hi Nineline, sorry yes that's what a meant to say. There is no diagonal markings at all. Just the dots (9). Is this a bug then or not?

Hi all. I noticed that the speed brake indicator only shows 6dots when in any position other than closed. I thought it displayed different symbols depending on what stage of extension. Just thought I'd mention it in case.

What would be great is if they could add an option to change IPD for each individual module!

Hi All, Am I the only one who can't see the moving map? I have tried all the buttons yet all I get is lots of data, and waypoints but all on a black and green rose. Whatever I do I can't see any moving map. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Dispite my moaning earlier you and Steve have done a great job, just needs the minor issues fixed and will be great. I really like the storyline that adds depth and immersion to the setting. Hi all, I agree with your points. It's such a shame that there are ambiguous at best, parts of the briefing. At the end of the day it's only 10 missions and should really be working out of the box! Not sure if it's been rushed out or just not tested properly, but such small things as mentioned can mess up the mission, and ruin it. Whilst there is a lot of potential, I do think it could have been a bit more polished before release. I would like to see on the briefing which runway to land on, just says 21, but there's left and right. 21L or 21R would be better. Also would like to be given a stand to park at, maybe a diagram of taxi, park route. As would be cool to all taxi and park next to each other. Would be nice if ai aircraft could land a bit closer together. After mission 1 I landed and followed an ai A10 who decided to park at the furthest point away in the most unlikely parking spot

All of the above statemants are I'm afraid incorrect. You may have accrued $31 of discounts, however u are only able to use approx $10 of discount per time. Therefore $49.99 - $10 = $39.99 using your earnt bonus. As opposed to sale price $19.99. It's a no brainer. I have accrued a large amount of discounts, but will never use them, as I will wait for a sale and buy the product much cheaper. I like the idea of what ED was trying to do, however I don't like the way it's been implemented. To me it doesn't work. But thats just my opinion:) Cheers Neil

Hi all, I have $28 in my account from previous versions ordered. Today I went to try and buy FC3 but it only takes $10 off full price, not the $28. I'll give it a miss for now. Seems u can't use the full amount u have been credited with! Great idea in theory however I question the implementation, or at least the lack of clarity around how much of your accumulated $ you can spend on each new purchase!! Cheers Neil

Hi all, I totally agree. DCS is the best platform for military aviation ever and can't see this changing in the future, to me the biggest let down is the infra red picture. I find it hard enough finding targets when slaved to the exact location! Let alone searching for vehicles elsewhere. If DCS can improve this it would be amazing. Cheers Neil

I totally agree. Have just finished flying the UH1 on the MP server and it was awesome. Some much better to fly. It was like I was one with the machine. I thought it and it happened, this is the first time I have had this in this sim. They have done one hell of an incredible job. All we need now are underslung cargo loads and I will be in heaven. Incidently I also flew the MI8 in MP, myself and 2 other MI8's where facing each other in a hover whilst rotating. I had some lag and ended up touching one of the other hips! He lost his rotor and crashed, I was lucky and lost my nose wheel and left main wheel!! I ended up landing on one wheel (main right). I also had a yellow chip warning lamp light up. Incredible detail. The two best helicopter sims out there. Cheers Neil
