Hi. I expand the radio chatter with some F-16 radio calls, I recorded. I mixed the Apache calls with F-16 calls. It have now a length of about 9 min. with only short breaks. Here is the DL-Link: Black Shark radio chatter Hope you enjoy it! P.s.: When I have time (and the feedback is positive), I will cut some more stuff to expand the chatter up to 20-30 min.;)

I think you need special Bumpmapping effects to make a chrome effect. I think it is not possible with the current GFX-Engine, or?

I think it will only cost a few minutes, up to a few hours, for a Site-Admin to include some theme's into the RSS-Feed....after that, it will update itself;)

News can also be "official Annoncements" written by Wags and so on. (If it is possible to add them in to the RSS-Feed) NEws that can be icluded: -New Videos -official Annonuncement -high quality addons (such as 3rd Party addons, when 3rd party tools are out) and so on... There is much, what could(!) be included into a RSS-Feed...depends on ED:) Even, or because, that there are so little news, a RSS could be interesting. *Throw the first stone* :D

You missed it. (Fly Falcon and you know what I mean.) Sure...maybe I will like these missions. 1. But what I don't like is to do such a lot of work for every single Mission, when I(!) create missions. 2. These Radio Calls are "static"..... .wav or .ogg files are used. What I mean is ("realtime")dynamic AI Radio Chatter. No triggered soundfiles. The difference is that it is "independant" from any trigger or the mission itself. The AI calls what actually is going on or if they need help or AWACS calls and so on. And also, you can't use triggered soundfiles in a dynamic Campaign. This works only in self builded missions. Again sorry for my english, hope it is clear what I mean!? P.s.: When we have a dynamic campaign, it is not possible to use custom soundfiles. We really need AI radio chatter for atmosphere when we have a dynamic campaign. -

I agree with most of the first Postings. I'm a Falcon Pilot for years. And the only thing that keeps Falcon alive, for me personally, is the dynamic campaign and the easy(better say quick) to use Mission Editor. It really start getting boring to build missions for hours and then play the own Mission in an hour or two. Even when you do not know what happens exactly in detail(because of a complex mission or random triggers)....but you basicly know what is going around in your mission. I think only a dynamic campaign and an easyer to use mission builder can hold a big bunch of customers for long time. And when we are talking about dynamic campaign, we also must talk about AI radio chatter like Falcon one's:music_whistling: This is a must have for me to have a much better "being in there" feeling or call it atmosphere... I know all this is already discussed in the wishlist Thread....but it can't said often enough.:) -
Iґd love to combine Forces. And when the first fixed wing AC`s arrive then it will be nice to do so. The Helo`s can Recon and mark targets with their Laser and the A-10`s, Su25`s or whatever AC will drop their GBU`s --- for exapmle. Such Missions would be really nice, I think.:) So I made my x on "Yes, but i would fly the fixed wings also!". But I will primary fly Helo`s. (Ah64A Apache)

A question: Is it possible that any kind of Aircraft or (Groundforce) Unit can make reconnaisance and that I can get an update in the ABRIS? I mean, during a flight when enemy SAM's will getting detected by, lets say, an A-50 Mainstay(or any similar Recon-AC). Is there any chance that these SAM's will be shown in my ABRIS? Like in the HSD in a F-16? I don't mean the Recon via Wingmen... You know what I mean? (Oh dear...my english is so....:music_whistling:)

Does exist any free(non-classified) Document with tactics or standard tactics for a non-radar-using Helo like the KA-50 or AH64A? Any Documents or links to a Forum about tactics would be nice!:thumbup: Thanks:)

With settings: ["effects"] = 2, ["lights"] = 1, ["haze"] = 0, (edit: The settings above turns off the rotor downwash effect and reduce some lightning. But it looks good enough anyway!) and ["shadows"] = 0 and fps=30The other settings: 1280x1024 2xAA 16xAF - textures=medium, visible range=high, scenery=medium, civ=off, water= low Everything runs fine at around 20-30 fps, even in really huge battles. (Singleplayer) (My Rig is in the signature)

Possible. Formats are .ogg and .wav Edit: But there is no need to. Sound is really nice.

Since 2003....was it the release year? (Never bought or played Lock On...I'm a Falcon Pilot:music_whistling:) Minimum 8 upgrades and a lot more than 10 Windows reinstalls since 2003.

Very nice! But I have to say that there is a big problem with ground Units which should be solved first: Behaviour of the Ground AI when moving in a column. 1.They often stop, when the leader is dead. 2. Also, they often stuck on, at least, very small hills and won't move anymore. Don't missunderstand me!!! I am not complaining. This is, after all these years, finally a Game(especially Sim), which is very low on bugs for a v1.0!(espacially compared to Falcon:D) :thumbup: Just report a, for me personally, important bug wich makes mission building very difficult. I know there is no support for us in english, now. But I hope that you except some (critical) bug reporting;) (I have some Russian/Armenian friends...but don't want to ask for, writing stuff for me, because they are not playing Games...so I post it here)

Problem is that the current trees are not solid objects. They have not viewblock. AI can see you, but you cannot see them. And if you climbing over an hill with trees on the top, they can see you earlier then you can see them. It's not making pop-up manuevers impossible...but less effective.
