  1. I double checked every circuit breaker and every switch between the cold and hot start and they all matched but still when loading the bombs in cold start they don't drop. I know there is another report for the bombs but it is missing the Track file. the Track file is simply me just cold starting the Mi-24 and trying to drop the bombs with no success (even asked petro to ready the weapons). anyone can recreate this bug by cold starting the Mi-24 and loading bombs.   2. It honestly is just as simple as Cha5er described, you load the bombs in hot start, they work fine. you do a cold start or rearm the bombs, they never drop (unless you do it with the emergency jettison)

  4. high pedal push rate warning appears when you have the Pedal damper in the on position and you try to yaw too quickly too far left or right. you can see in the pedal movement (right ctrl + enter) how the pedal damper would slow down the rate of yaw incomparison with your actual rudder movement.
  5. Hello ZeroReady, May I ask if you did something in the mission editor or was the issue with sling loading automatically solved for you ? I still have problems with sling loading the crate to the offshore oil platform, as the crate feel weightless and just go crazy at 100kph before the line break.

Having to fly at 190km\h from one point to another 2 missions in a row is just not fun, I honestly find myself fast forwarding time Ctrl+Z while doing these kind of missions (which kills the immersion for me). I'd rather have to do more Navigation or more challenging landings or fly through harsher weather than this. I want to be clear, I am not trying to be rude, I love Stone Sky's campaigns, I played and finished the Memory of the Hero campaign and absolutely loved it and this one seems also good with nice voice acting and I want to play the rest of the campaign, so I am looking now into editing my logbook and skipping mission 3 completely without playing it. that was my opinion, what about yours ? do you like or dislike it?

Greetings Magnitude, as you might know the upcoming Syria map is a stone throw away, and since the Syrian AF used alot of Mig-21 bis could you please add some Syiran AF liveries to the ingame file of the Mig-21. it would make the experience of flying the amazing Mig-21 so much more immersive.   9. that sounds weird, I played that mission yesterday and it was fine! after destroying the speed boats, did you give the american cruiser a flyby or did you return directly to the home ship ? I gave the Americans a flyby and then returned back with no issues, maybe try that !
  10. It makes me sad checking this Forum for the last 2 years and seeing no news at all for the Mi-8, I think the only consolation is to think that you guys are working on the Mi-24P. we rotor heads really need something new from you awesome people of Belsimtek !

Ok so after some trial by error I finally managed to properly finish the mission, and I have to say the plot itself is very nice but the trigger to get the ship to show up is a bit stupid! so I stayed on the course and after crossing waypoint 5 I truned the arc-ud on and turned towards the ship which appeared this time. so I hovered over it and dropped the radio, then got into contact with the captain which requested me to vacate some of his injured sailors, I wasnt allowed to do so as it was a cargo ship but then a random radio transmission comes in a says that it will arrive in 3 min, which was weird because there was no aircraft in the area according to the SAR unit. and suddenly out of nowhere a russian Submarine surface the sea about 100m away from the ship and they tell me they will take charge and I can RTB.
  12. Hello guys, what am I supposed to do after finding the ghost ship (all I found was smoke on the water surface) ? I got very frustrated today after actually properly doing the first 2 legs tracking NDB outbound from gelendzik (not sure if magnetic variation or coastal refraction exists in dcs) and using the Doppler to correct for wind. I first started picking up random emergency vhf signals on 121.5 on the arc-ud which got me off the course 2 times and then after actually seeing the red flare and picking up the proper signal the voices of my copilot and the SAR operation organizer girl overlapped and I didn't know what to do from there. there was no boat and no raft, the only thing I found was red smoke on top of the sea surface. thanks for the help :thumbup:

  14. i don't think they are working at the moment, i even managed to crash servers while using them ! i would get a weaponblock.dll error
  15. thats for short range rocket firing (with the mils on the gun sight i can get the angle elevation to 11,5 max) , what i want to do is far range rocket artillery, up to 10km, it is possible with the correct speed, alt, heading, distance and up to 25degree angle. but what i want is to be able to calculate that, checked around the net alot and that is some hard physics and might take me a very long time to understand. so thought finding the code is the easiest thing :thumbup:
  16. i want to create a calculator for the Mi-8's unguided rockets with the help of the NS430 i have the distance from target, with the instruments (gun sights and etc...) i have angle speed and alt, but those unguided rockets are very hard to calculate (burn time, drag, terminal velocity, mass and alot of other forces), at least i don't have the physic knowledge to solve such a thing. so i thought if it was possible to find the formula that is being used for the Ka-50s computer i can use it !!

  18. Either no one is a fan of the Weekend idea or nobody checks the forum anymore unless the weather is too bad for them to complain :P I am a big fan of No A/A missile weekend, that gives every plane (even ww2) the chance to contribute.

Hello everyone, so you guys know how the Ka-50 has a computer that calculates unguided rocket (S-5) trajectory and predicts where they hit the ground, well I am trying to find the code of that calculator/computer so i can see what Equation/Formula is used to calculate the trajectory. but so far i was very unsuccessful finding it, if anyone of you guys is familiar with this and is able to show me the path to the file or how i can find it, that would be very appreciated :thumbup: Thanks

Hello, your list is correct and you are not missing anything, for rescue and supply missions the ARK-9 is the only one we can use currently on the server (some ship beacons are not working though so don't be surprised). right now Mirknir is busy working on Regenesis, but maybe when he has time ill ask him to add some R-828 or Ark-9UD presets, and some low freq beacons for the Yadro.

Hello everyone, so i bet almost everyone of us was in the situation before where you get hit by ground fire and the bullets damage one of your generators, so your weapon system and gun sight will switch off and you wont be able to fire anything although your helicopter might be fully flyable:cry: now my question is, is it possible to power up the weapon system using the APU and the emergency generator ? i tried playing with it alot but without any success, so if any of you professionals know a way around it please explain it to me. thanks :thumbup:

Benefits = none really, or maybe just an even closer spawn to the conflict zone. but why people request them : 1- taking off and landing on roads was one of the special things the Viggen did in real life, the swedish way of thinking was that if the soviets ever attacked sweden and destroyed most of its airfields, the Swedish airforce would still be able to deploy viggens from Roads. 2- taking of and landing on a road in dcs is actually fun and challenging, true you are not able to rearm and refuel but soon when Normandy map comes we hope DCS would implement Repair and refuel trucks near roads to work as an airfield. hope that answered your question :thumbup:

  25. yes 90% of my tries were with 800001 code, maybe i should try different spacing! do you guys know how far the waypoints can be from each other ? i thought since the missile had around ~70km range i can actually fully use that, any ideas ?
