Keep in mind that most of what you are talking about is in real life not in the game. The Tanks a a basic damidge moddle that does not incorperate where they get hit from altho hitting the tank with AP rounds will degrade its abillty to aim back at you. I have shot a T55 with every round AP and HA and have not ben able to stop it from moving. And that is light of a main battle tank that is in DCS. Guns aginst a tank are a waist of ammo and time spend the ammo on softer targets in hopes that your ground forces can take care of the tank. In the situation stated befor. I have 100 AP rounds. It would be a good luck guys your on your own. I might fling them for 4K out but you wont see me going head on with a tank. from any angel.

I agree with this. I find that the FFAR's are more of an area weapon aginst light truck's and groops of troop's. I use a 20* dive when using the FFAR and a few other weapons. I find that a 10* -20* dive workes well for all CCIP weapon dillevery.

Liquidice gets fixed on targets and forgets about the power lines. :doh: You can see my ABRIS on the right. Multi screen set up is not that good for takeing videos.

I took me 2 weaks of playing with settings to get every thing just right on my system setup. Just keep making small changes till you are happy with it. You will get there and then it will all be fun.

If you instaled BS in your programs folder that is your problem. BS is a 32bit program and has to be instaled in the x86programs folder.

I have added a few landing aircraft to some of my missions. Just to add a little trafic at the air port. The guys in my groop enjoy this but the problem is the ATC will give clirance for TO even if a AI is on final aproch. The ATC realy needs some improving I hope in the next DCS releas that you take some time and add to the ATC. In my opinion it is a vital part of flying. DCS is doing great at keeping the motto of the aircraft 95% acurate, But with out the acurate world for the aircraft to go in it is meaning less. I know DCS is a evolving world and I just want it to be all that it can be/shuld be. Keep up the good work. I do so enjoy your eforts at the best sim aircraft in the world. :thumbup:

Set the smothing to around 100.

You need to creat a FT profile for each game. Don't alter and use the default profile.

Their are ways of doing it but 99% of the time it is a fail. I tryed it for 3 weaks and only had 1 successful mission to start on a deck. And even with that it was 50 50 chance that it would work. You have to spawn in a plain at 0 speed and just above the deck. Most of the time when you get in the plain it drops and brakes the gear. Landing is another problem all together. FC2 only supports the SU-33 for carier ops.

Once the weapons are loaded on the plain you need to do a LOAD on the MFCD. This will search the hard points for the weapons that are on the plane and update the DSMS to the curint load out. If you dont have the Load tab on your MFCD botom row of buttons. Pick one and hold it for 3 seconds. A new page will come up look for the load button. Hit the load button then hit any of the buttons on the botom row. This will assine the load to that button. Now hit the load button and the load screen will come up. hit load all or load DSMS. wait for it to load then check the DSMS page to see that it is up to date. Your DUN

Don't realy care as FC2 may not be compatable with DCS:BS once it is upgraded to A-10c compatiblty Patch. My groop will no longer use FC2. un less we all deside to keep BS on the 1.02 patch. witch I don't think will happen.

You need to edit some lua. files to make it work. Do a search there is pleanty of threads that show how to do it.

I also have 2 screens in Win7. With the ABRIS on the second screan with no problems. My second screen is a 16" WS standing on end. I tried 4 screans but wound up only using 3 due to FPS hit. I get about 35-60FPS with gauges (BSVP 1.0) main screen and the moving map witch is allined to the right of the main screan.

Pitbldr Nvida has made it posable for some of the older cards to be compatable with the new ones on the same driver. But you are limited to the 8800gt seires and up for compatabillty. also using two cards for DCS does not realy work very well. You are better off running both game screans on one card. I put my 2 8800gt's in my box to run BS with 3 screens. Byt A-10c dosent run very well on the 8800gt. For some reason I get much better FPS in BS with the 8800gt's than the 465GTX. But If I add the 8800gt as a PHIS-X card for games that support it, WOW what a FPS booster.

I agree I am using 256 as well and have no problems knowing what the target type is.
