BS runs better on win 7 64bit for me. Get to use all my ram now.

I would like to know how to do the cut and paist. My slpeling is real bad if you can tell.

I made this video for my groop and thought it may help a few guys here. This video depicts what to do wihth a recived data linked target marker, So that you can locate and engage the target.

It depends on the IO card that you buy. Their are many companys that make them. A brakeout board is basickly a spliter betwean the IO card and the switches. I only sold 7 of theas boards in the first run. Not sure if they have had time to make ues of them yeat. I am short cash to buy a X-keys matrix board witch is what I made this brakeout board for. If you search this tread you will find pics of the unit but not in use. Price is $38 for the brakeout board and $8 for a connector cable. If you want to DIY I am cargin $28, Comes with all the parts needed to build it. Shiping can range from $18 to $80. You have pleanty of time to think about it just don't think too long. ;)

Ok I see I have 2 that would be intrested. I will make a few post around the flight sim world forums and see if I can come up with enough to make a order. It may take sevral weaks to make it happen. If you don't mind waiting.

Did you deactavate BS befor uninstalling it. If not you have to re enter your actavation code to fly.

You need the 1.02c patch and make sure you are in internet mode not network mode. Also sujest that you set net speed to 128/256. This prevents over running the sever and make play better for all.

It just takes some pratices. I probly have close to over 2000hr in the BS now. It took a long time to learn how the KA-50 handeled. I sujest thsat you try a empty mission with no weapons and half load of fuel. play with that and add weight to it and see the diffrance's. rember the Ka-50 is a flying buss with weapons it's no race car. ;)

jTAC DATA LINK NOT WORKING FOR ME. No CCIP or gun retacal below 6000 ft and even If I get one it is way off the only thing working for me is the LGB's and GPS weapons. All tested in MP sever. So far this patch is worse than the last one. FPS is slightly better :noexpression: I will try building a new mission and test in SP and MP but so far not impresed. CAS 1.miz

pedals will improve the KA-50 100%. It makes that much of a diffrance in a chopper. It will take a little gitting use to bu you will realise that "how can anyone fly with a twisty stick".

Isegrim Is right the best way is the strait stop. I usaly start slowing down about 1K out. If you keep an eye on the accent/decent gauge keep it with in 300FPM decent you will avoid a vortex ring state. At speed I drop the colitive all the way off and nose up till I just start to climd. As I slow I add colitive to make up for the loss of lift to maintain level fight. I like to trim my nose up around 12*-20* depending on how fast I want to stop. Any more and you will be climbing faster than you want.

The only planed patch for BS is going to be the compatibilty to A-10C Patch. Last I herd it would be about 4 month's out at least after they are dun with A-10C patching.

This way of thinking is waht made Japan lose in WWII. If Japan had kept their best pilots back to train the new pilots. The out come may have ben diffrint. The USAF and NAVY would pull the bes pilots off the line and send them back to train pilots going out to the $%^T. This keeps the level of pilots survivabilty much higher. Sending a new pilot out with out the best know how we can give them is a bad reflection on the DCS members as a whole. I offer training to anyone inside or out side of my flying groop. Doing this helps every one out. One it makes it so they and us don't have to go thrue the same old question every time someone new comes around. it also allows the new guys to get more enjoyment out of DCS and a better member of the comunnity. <S> to all. keep the new guys comming back for more. :book: :smartass: :thumbup:
