  1. hopefully we can turn a lot of the unessary ground objects off to improve fps complexity looks fairly high hopefully we can turn it all down
  2. brill, we still need to land on them though pretty please, than thanks for your replies
  3. will there be a WW2 ship to land on ?
  4. cheers ok, I'm going to grab the bundle, I have the full P-51 so I can only fly the P-51 in it right? (unless I want to fly modern aircrafts in it which I don't ) e.g. does the bundle include any flyable aircrafts too ?
  5. where do we click to make the pre-purchase ??
  6. Agreed -users should be happy to contribute , 3 years of special development Incredible how some can moan -it's a good price The other option is that the devs could have released this as a separate title at a higher cost
  7. This release turns DCS into a full historic & WW2 flying sim A great release & looking forward to it I hope I can use my racing pedals as rudder controls ( custom pedals ) without all the Vjoy nightmares
  8. ignore marketing hype await for unbiased comparisons , hope its a brill card though, good for everyone as price drops on current high end gpu and VR users etc
  9. releasing in spring/summer not great for me march catches the last of those cold dark nights here in england (-;
  10. with southern england included gives a very defined enemy vs allied usable arena escorting bombers over the channel, defending airfields , dog fighting whilst trying to get into france to a strategic target etc, this really opens up DCS to some exciting simulated adventures looking forward to this & will pickup the spitfire whilst i'm at it
  11. I'll just use the ones already there then , that's really great looking forward to this, I'll return to DCS on this release tad worried they'll be a lot of not needed details slowing fps on the French side hope I can turn off the detail if need be this is going to really put DCS in a new market / dimension dam it I'll purchase the spitfire whilst I'm at it ( I think that's been released ? )
  12. brill! thanks for response, i think a less detailed south england will my preference as it will be good fps looking forward to this
  13. hi I came to site to buy Normandy map, but its now delayed to end of Q1 ?? eg March release ?? EDIT : & South England is included as a fairly blank area but user can place an airfield and items in editor as needed ?
  14. It was stated that it would include the south of England Even if south of England is very very basic and and generic airfields can be added in editor Wouldn't make much sense to release without
  15. Look forward to a P-51 vs. Spitfire user experience review
  16. rear seat in the hawk ? the hawk is a plane right I only use the P-51 which is excellent , so the spitfire is it worth me buying this as I already have the P-51 (I dont need both right? ) I'm more interested the new ww2 map & dx11 updates etc
  17. just tweeks, awaiting 2.5
  18. Hi I really like the P-51 but holding off using DCS for now until the Normandy release Why would I want the spitfire?? am I missing something?
  19. much needed, looks very natural glad its not over done, goodwork
  20. this year is quickly starting to run out so we dont have long to wait (-:
  21. its a total pain it being separated, fusing the two can not come soon enough
  22. I've gave DCS a break until 2.5 release so I do hope 2016 release along with new ww2 map Trying to resist xplane 11 !
  23. when normady map is released we'll have to organise something now and again its easy to create an online server right? I have a separate pc that can be used for this & 100meg net connection
  24. That's brilliant ! With cold dark winter coming then this type of major update couldn't be better timed ! On that basis it's an instant buy from me !
  25. is this supposed to be happening this year?
