if your running with x2 gpu's try some plugging the rift into a different gpu socket

Diss -find oculus rift option in version 2.00. ...it's there somewhere make sure you have it selected

On my PC all I have is Iracing & DCS , the cream of racing sim & flight sims As well as oculus home demos etc That's enough for me

if its a VR card as they claim then maybe its got some tricks up its sleeve benchmarks can be misleading, user reviews will be more interesting especially with VR

go for a 2nd hand 980 ! 980ti if possible

Thanks for responses , I'm referring to the micro pauses whilst ground objects are loaded My PC smoothly scored a 17000+ on firestrike benchmark last night and is running other titles brilliantly .....except DCS due to its pause-load problem Be good if here were an option to turn off this loading -I prefer incomplete detail textures as I don't really stare at particular ground objects anyway Incredible the devs let this happen , happens on my PC + my other less powerful PC

Sim shaker is great Anyone that enjoys DCS must must invest in a buttkicker & download sim shaker ! Immersion is greatly increased for little trouble & cost

getting a 1080 gamer X tomorrow if I'm happy with that I'll order a PCI solid state drive and continue to test but for DCS I'm not holding up much hope ps its only DCS that has this problem

when will the maps be fused together ??? its a pain only having one map, then buying the other is a different version install

its þe biggest immersion killer ever the only time I've seen this before was in Arma 2 (exactly same issue) I gave up on that forcing a pc to start loading from hard drive mid-scene is no no surely? we need to be able to switch off what ever it is thats loading, I'm not interested in that close up detail anyway and cant even see it when at distance

Hi massive thanks for response, yes tried current & last few drivers with a 1080 & a Gtx Titan If it's a broken software engine then that's pretty dam serious as it's such an immersion killer The devs need to give this very very high priority No point in buying content if the main software will not run fairly smooth Happy to run on low settings even with high end hardware but nothing is getting rid of this problem I'd be happy to leave PC for 10 minutes if there was some time if pre-load of all pause ground items or switch off these pointless items Either way it's a massive downfall in DCS that is otherwise a brilliant sim

I'm sending the 1080 back and gone back to my gtx Titan -same problem my friend has similar PC with a 980ti -same problem
