Will it run crisis with shadows on medium maybe?

Being fairly new I have zero idea here re.expected releases 1944 map 2.5 ( 2 with 1.5. Together I assume ) Weeks ? months ? next year ? Sorry for the question but again I have zero idea & I know any date given is only rough & an ETA

we need an option to reduce town texture or reduce/turn off towns all together they really dont do anything for the flight anyhow, of course we need the airports they are just a performance hog

i think there are 2 separate things : 1) stutter from graphical pc bottle necking - needs lower settings/better driver/better hardware 2) micro load pausing -pc loading new items/detail -needs very fast solid state hard drive number 2 was my problem & spoilt my enjoyment, would be best if all these items could load into ram prior to taking flight ( I have 16Gb of ram ), any how its sorted and running nicely now looking forward to more optimisation for VR / GPU's, I'll buy content soon too

i just use a hotas then mouse click all in cockpit no looking out of the rift is needed & this is the best way IMO

no london, just some of southern england so can fly accross chanel etc

they should not mention anything in the works unless its with in 3 months of release

Hi I've just downloaded the latest updated version, using the P-51 how on earth do we get rid of those annoying big signs that magically appear when putting dot over them also the dot/cross does go out of the cockpit and although i have mouse control(in VR menu) it seems confused highly frustrating

ok, sorted I installed on the new PCI solid state drive, thank goodness for that!

A lot of detail in those pics I really hope they keep it simple so it's very easy on our PC's is the no.1 important thing IMO Great shame there seems to be no development path to an ETA release date

Can DCS just produce X1 version to include latest features & both maps ??? -that's in the next few weeks not " we are working on it and it's coming soon some time hang in there and buy content in the meantime because everything is coming soon"

do what i do, dont buy them or take any interest I'll support/buy if i read/see a shining review of a finished product I've learnt the hard way to stay out of "beta's"

they'll give you a RMA label to return it and they'll replace it mine had a sound problem (loose connector inside) and should be getting my replacement next week

well done for getting rid of your stutter my problem is defo load pauses -coming close to new town or something new happening form1st time, 2nd time or flying back over same town there are no pauses as data is in memory i have the drive installed and i dont have my cv1 at the moment as I'm waiting for a replacement, however I did try on my monitor and no noticeable load pause ( as the SSD is so fast ) this should be same result of course on the rift cv1 but I want to test as soon as I get it back as in VR any slight problem is ampified

then all we need is DCS devs is to fix their engine to utilise the power of the 10 series gpu's

They need to rebuild the sim on a capable engine & Call it "DCS evolved" and charge us for it, I'd happily pay to get rid of these prehistoric type problems I think DCS is an amazing sim but I'm not buying content until it runs well & I can use it without issue I do run the latest high spec PC ( gtx1080 watercooled overclocked etc ) 2016 is here along with the onset of VR

Nothing is enough for VR at the moment for DCS world Big new cards are not utilised yet
