  1. What controls are you using to slave the Mav seeker?
  2. I don't know about those, but Wags stated in Hornet mini-updates that G and F were delayed to November. So I'm wondering if they're still planned...
  3. Are AGM-65F and G still planned for this month?
  4. Does the IR rework have to be done before we get F & G version? Or are F & G still slated to follow closely behind the E, like it was stated last month?
  5. TPOD is not needed to use LGBs.
  6. AGM-65F and G will give a much needed precision, stand-off capability to DCS Hornet. The A in the F/A-18C will finally make sense.
  7. +1 That or remove it from the game.
  8. IR mavs and HARM!
  9. Any progress on F & G version also? Those will be amazing, since they can be used by the Hornet without external help. :joystick:
  10. I remember a month or two ago, the AIM-120 would loft - but I don't remember how I got it to do that. Can someone assist?
  11. Wow. That's a good advice!
  12. Cool, so not dead - but probably not included with the F-14 either. Thanks guys.
  13. Heatblur spoke about a free map for F-14. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2389653&postcount=1 Has there been any more news about this? Is it coming after the initial release? Is it still planned? Will it really be included in the F-14 package?
  14. If we judge by the development pace of first 5 months since Hornet's release, late 2020 or 2021 is more likely than 2019. Given that AGM-65E has taken this much time, the truly complex weapons and sensors like A2G Radar and SLAM-ER will probably take vastly more time to develop. It may sound discouraging, but think of it like this; The F/A-18C Lot 20 is an incredibly complex machine and it has more sensors & different weapons than the rest of DCS modules combined. And some of these weapons, countermeasures and sensors have never been seen in DCS before, so it's to be expected that Hornet will take longer to complete.
  15. Second half of 2019 might be a safe bet. They are reworking the FLIR simulation first, so that will obviously take some time. The development of ATFLIR will also take time. And going by Wag's post about the work plans for the 4 developers working on Hornet's systems, we have plenty of systems that will be coming before the TGP. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3661070&postcount=80 TLDR; Don't expect it soon.
  16. Correct. You will notice in-game that the "Take-Off Weight" will increase. Doubling the amount of fuel greatly increases the KC-130's ability to provide AAR for multiple planes. I hope that RAZBAM implements this 5 second fix to bring the fuel capacity of KC-130 to more realistic value.
  17. I second this. I saw that MOOSE has a SEAD class: https://flightcontrol-master.github.io/MOOSE_DOCS/Documentation/Functional.Sead.html But so far I have not got it working - even in the demo missiom, AI sits there like usual and waits for ARM to hit.
  18. Only a few ships have a working damage model. The rest just have HP. Until ED improves the 3d models and their damage model, there won't be an improvement.
  19. Server side is enough.
  20. +1 It feels like the Hornet is on the backburner. Last new features came in early August!
  21. I've just learned to expect delays.
  22. Yeah, I read it like that also. AGM-65E next month, then some time after that - F & G. What is the difference between F and G?
  23. Silvern

    What is this?

Yeah, plenty of those can be found in the DCS Mods section. :smilewink:
  24. It's still waay better than dumb bombs. :) Can't wait to see what ED brings us next week!
  25. In my humble opinion, the Maverick is a better choice for Hornets first PGM. It will give us precision, stand-off capability against a wider array of targets than HARM would.
