  1. Having flak artillery in DCS would be a good start. ( WW2 asset pack doesn't count)
  2. Yeah, we need some FLAK guns. :cry: The number of AAA we have in this game is super small. Something like KS-19.
  3. It is not a problem at all, just a minor thing. We run online campaigns in our squadron, so each mission we fly effects the next one (targets hit, friendly losses, etc.). Recon flights play a role in our campaigns, so players need to fly recon missions where they take actual pictures or videos of the target area ahead of strike missions. I was wondering if it's possible for the Tacview host to hide certain units in Tacview for the debrief, so that players can't see objects that they haven't reconed yet. Like the host could click on a unit and select "Hide" or something - like in DCS mission editor. Not requesting anything, was just asking if such a thing already exists. :)

  5. Is it possible to hide certain units in the Tacview file? Ground units for example?
  6. In the book Hornets over Kuwait, written by a former USMC Horner driver Jay A. Stout, they also use Mavericks as Mini-TPOD since actual TPODs were hard to come by. So using Mavericks as navflir isn't dumb at all, in fact it's historically accurate. :pilotfly:
  7. Next patch will increase the AGM-65F lock ranges against ships. Maybe try again then? :) OR Fly higher than 24k feet to avoid SA-15 engagement zone and dive on the ship?

  10. Thank you! This will be invaluable with the HARM! Default SAM AI is non-existent. On a separate note, did anyone ever try to make an A2G dispatching script? Something that would work similarly to A2A dispatcher, but instead of air targets the patrolling planes would attack the ground targets?

  16. I was also unable to get the SEAD evasion to work. The groups did not turn off their radar and only moved after one of them was destroyed, which is a default DCS behavior.
  17. Is it possible to slave Maverick to waypoint? WPDSG didn't do the trick for me.

  22. Thanks, that did the trick. Yeah, we are able to repaint whole thing. Like repainting planes. New liveries then appear in the mission builder, same as with planes or ground units. I got it to work.   23. New DCS version added support for ship liveries and I am trying to repaint the Kuznetsov, but I don't know how to prepare the description.lua for the ship. Any help would be appreciated.
  24. Do not use the Windows notepad. Use Notepad ++. Issue is a matter of encoding most likely. Run a DCS_repair.exe and then edit the .lua with Notepad++, this will most likely fix it. Make sure to remove "--" from both inboard and outboard stations.
  25. The creator of this video fails to mention that you can move the IMAV seeker. Be sure to designate your Maverick as SOI, otherwise you can't slew it around. :) Obviously the AGM-65G is WIP, but it's already incredibly fun to use. Hornet becomes an A2G monster with it.
