I don't think we have a DB screen like single player, just a table that shows kills which I believe is titled "Pool" in MP missions. I could be wrong but I've almost always played MP exclusively since release and don't remember seeing something along those lines.

A little update on mine: Ok got the iphone working along with the Touch IR (now Touch Control) software and added the required buttons in the control options of DCS A10C. It works but I was still having some of the issues I had the last time I was using it. What would happen is I press the "Master Caution" button on the iphone UFC and one press it would work and the next it would jettison my weapons. Apparently I had jettison weapons set to the "W" key and UFC key was LCTRL + LALT + W for Master Caution. I think whats happening is that sometimes the Iphone is sending the LCTRL + LALT + W command but everyonce in a while it only registers "W". After reassigning some keys I have the UFC working on the iphone but sometimes you have to press the desired key a few times to get it to work. So this is still a great way to use your iphone for an extra controller and relatively cheap, I believe when I got the IOS software a few years back it was free but required a cheap in-app purchase to get the functionality needed for the UFC commands. Everything else is free provided by the original poster and works as advertised although you may have to reassign some keyboard commands so you don't have duplicate command issues. Not an issue in my case since I rarely use the keyboard for flying related tasks. Edit: Looks like the app is 6.99 now (not sure if it still requires in app purchases though).

I have the MFDs and while they are smaller and missing a rocker (or is it two) as well as the on/off dial, you can't beat them for off the shelf plug & play devices. I use them on my secondary monitor display panel and they work great and you don't notice the missing buttons really. But if you're going for strictly replica status I see your point.

Thanks boarder2, after doing some reading it can be done but involves rooting the device (and voiding the warranty) maybe after this thing is out of warranty I'll give it a try. Or just wait for it to be available.

Curious, will this also work on a kindle fire HD? Bought one for my wife for her birthday and I'm under the impression that it uses android but that it may be a proprietary version used by amazon only....

Bump, I just reinstalled this cool app today to use in my pit. It used to work great but I haven't tested it to see if I'm still having the button issues. I used to press one button but something else entirely would happen. Will let everyone know how it works (if it works) and to see if this is still a good way to use the UFC via iphone......

Its possible that a program like Joy to key or similar might work but I've never tried it. My gut tells me that the answer is no, since these devices are usually recognized like keyboards. But in the end if it still works for you it probably wont matter either way.

Just wanted to check back in and let you guys know that its resolved Thanks again Milli and DeaconJB (I didn't realize you were referring to the viewporthandling.lua in your post above). Those 5-6 FPS make a difference when I'm averaging 15-30 depending on the mission or location!

I disagree as well, I fly on a projector with the image about 3ft in front of me with no issues at all, it did take some getting used too but very satisfying with TrackIR. Image is a 100+ inches on a 720P proj. Been flying that way since about 2007 BTW........

Make sure you have a set up to fly while building and good luck with the build. I have a temporary pit while my larger pit dreams are on hold (for three+ years so far lol.....).

Yeah, but it used to be the viewporthandling.lua in the scripts folder but when I look at the file now that line isn't there anymore so I have to assume its a different file to edit in a different place. Thats what I'm looking for now, the file/lua and what line to edit. DCS has gone through quite a few changes when I played it last year.

I have downloaded the files Ahsoul linked above and took a look through them but its still not clear what file and what line to edit to turn off the MFCDs on the in game A10C cockpit. Thanks again if anyone can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it! It really helps with the slight FPS boost I get from doing this.

Thx for the linked file but does anyone know the actual edit? I already have everything set up so I don't want to copy/paste a file and risk breaking my setup. It used to be just simple edit of adding a couple -- to the file and you were all set. Thx for any advice.

Hey everyone I recently updated to the newest version of DCS world and I'm having trouble turning off the MFCDs in game. I have a multi monitor setup with gauges and MFCD displayed and the old way to do this was to edit the Viewporthandling.lua file (Line 31 I believe). It seems with all the recent changes in file structures that this isn't relevant anymore. Can someone point me in the right direction please? I've searched the forums and google but I only seem to get links to the old way of doing this. Thanks in advance for any help!:joystick:

Wow really cool build you have going there! I haven't found time to fly my pit recently due to painting my house (by hand lol), going to school, having an active 2 1/2 yr old daughter and looking for work but I think of it all the time. Really need to update DCS this weekend and get some flying in! Great work once you get the bug this hobby takes hold of you.....
