Hello guys, I tried to edit the db_countries.lua, but the game won't start with an edited file.

Guys I'm having a problem I am unable to edit any .lua files. The game won't start. I tried to edit the Su-33.lua to correct weapon stations but the game does not start.

I am unable to correct any weapon stations at all. The game won't start. I want to correct the Su-33 weapon stations 3 and 10 since the R-73 are attached on wrong pylons but my game won't start.

How am I supposed to get my mods working with saved files? Usually I just need to modify the .lua file and it would work without problems.

But there are a couple of mods for which .lua files need to be modified, like adding coalitions or the F-5E wingtip tank mod. Are these not allowed?

Whenever I modify any .lua file i.e. to add coalitions or weapons, the game won't start. This basically makes it unplayable since I added several countries for skins and weapons to aircraft. Please fix ASAP.

The bullet belt of the 12,7mm KORD machine gun is not moving when shooting, and the reload pause and animation is missing.

I am using the DCS 2.5 openbeta on Steam and today the update 2.5.0.14304.321 released, but for some reason Steam does not update my DCS version. Even running DCS updater won't update to the current version.

With PBR switched on, the front part of the launcher rails for the R-13 Missiles has disappeared. Does not happen in 1.5 or with PBR off.

Sometimes when starting a mission, the game freezes mid-loading, freezing my entire system and making me unable to switch to any other application like Task Manager to close/restart the game, making the only way to exit shutting down my PC.

The "new" afterburner effects in 1.5.8 look very odd, not realistic at all. Is this a bug or supposed to be like this? Is there a possibility of restoring the old effects?

I reboote the game, my PC, I ran a repair and reinstalled the game. Nothing seems to help.
