Yes, I understand fully where it comes from, it might be termin definition problem. "Autotrim" means that stick neutral position changes by the plane. In mig29 this varible is, as you said alt & IAS (as is same for many europian military planes from that time using QFeel system).
Lets look the following image:
In this image pink donates situation when stick neutral position does not change, elevator gear ratio does change.
One can see that Mig29 stick neutral position is very important to the relationship of elevator deflection. If neutral position does not move, elevator is not moving correctly regarding to the gear ratio change!
I understand that variable loading was left out even though DCS:MiG21 has it simulated good enough. No problem, I can simulate this with my own FFB driver as I already do (I was forced to write one because of this DCS bug: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=222759 )
However variable loading is not my main issue in my argument. The neutral position change is. That can be simulated for all types of joysticks as same type of movement is already simulated when autopilot is activated.
