Hello, I would like to move a switch in the cockpit from .LUA file. For example X:COCKPIT PERFORM CLICKABLE ACTION (3,3001,1,"") in the ME. Can it be done? If yes what is the syntax? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I could not find the answer anywhere. Thnaks!

Nellis ADF Procedure
canned_fire replied to canned_fire's topic in DCS: Nevada Test and Training Range
No it doesn’t have an NDB at Nellis, but you can install one in the mission editor. That’s why I am looking for this NDB procedure from the past. Yes I also like old-school navigation. -
Nellis today has no ADF procedures, not much of a surprise there. But it must have had an ADF procedure in the 1950’s to 1970’s. Does anyone have a copy of such procedure? I am looking to fly ADF procedures in the F-86. Thanks.

NTTR info and mission by the 476

Thanks very much for this. But one question, and sorry if it is a stupid question. Someone said something about a script that tells you how far you hit from the target. I have never got a message, how does it work, what do I have to do to make it work? Does it work for strafing also? (I can see the targets, strafing pits, etc.) Again thanks for all the work that went into this. -
F-86F - Every Man a Tiger mini Campaign
canned_fire replied to catt42's topic in User Created Missions General
Thank you very much. Really enjoyed the missions, recommend to anyone interested in the F-86. Question: the Gass Peak Departure and Recover are they based on anything historical? Regards, -
We had an update on 2.2 last week, but this bug remains. Or is it just me?
-
It may very well be because what you said. I thought maybe there was some automation that the FUS would disable (for the takeoff for example). On the other hand, the FUS light is very good at alerting the pilot when the other tanks are empty (or not transferring), and you lose that keeping it on. Thanks for the response, appreciated it.

Vibora, I got say I like the C-101 very much, and I am happy you are working on the PFM for it. I have a question for you. In the manual checklist (and on the quick start guide) on the Before Start and Taxi sections it says: Fuel Quantity Selector ____ FUS I don’t understand the reason for that, especially because there is no step later to select “not” FUS. This obviously does not affect the operation of the aircraft but I am curious on how the system works. Maybe somebody can shine some light on the reason for selecting the FUS indication only. I think the real aircraft manual available in the internet doesn’t have that, but my Spanish is not very good, and I remember reading that this manual is not the latest one. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Hi, Just want to let you know that I would gladly pay $15 (same as the Mi8 GPs) for a refueling probe on the F-5. I got a feeling other people would also like it. Regards

Hi, After a while away I just noticed that the Mach Meter now works. I completely missed when it was implemented, but just wanted to say thanks for the continue work the F-5. Regards,

DCS 2.1 NTTR Textures Quality
canned_fire replied to haffende's topic in DCS: Nevada Test and Training Range
Hi, I got the impression that now I have sporadic stutter that was not there before. Even when the FPS is in the 100`s range. Does anyone else see this or is it only on my machine? I have been playing with the settings since Normandy came out… Regards, -
I would like that too. Thanks in advance.

Hi, No sure anyone has mentioned this, so here it goes. On the 109 dogfight mission there is a lone B17 landing. The B17 landing lights are black (not transparent), something similar to the black seen on the tracers from a long distance. S!

Couple of questions on the Campaign
canned_fire replied to canned_fire's topic in F-5E Aggressors BFM Campaign
Thanks! -
Hi, A have a couple of questions : On the missions, at range check-in, GCI gives instruction regarding the IFF code. I am familiar with general aviation mode-c transponder but I have no idea of IFF. Can you explain what is being said, and how the IFF should be set up based on that? I understand that IFF is not modeled, but just for fun I would like to set it up correctly. When landing on runway 21R, after an overhead break, where do fighters usually turn base? Before the Speedway, after, or over it? On the F-5 I thing over the Speedway is about right, but I guess people would not appreciate dozens of jets flying overhead at 500 feet, so the question where do they usually turn base? Thanks.

Same here. The needle and distance were not showing (did not wait several minutes). Tried at Nellis and Tonopah. And also the morse code would not stop even when volume was turned all the way down.

Thanks for the answer. So if for CCIP it is 30m, then I suppose for aircraft without CCIP it would be more than 30m, maybe 50m? . I was hoping some old F-5 pilot would clarify this.

Hello, I was wondering what is the expected bombing accuracy of an aircraft without computer aided aiming. For example: within 50 feet - excellent, up to 100 feet - above average, etc... Back then to "pass the course" how close to the target a pilot had to consistently land his bombs? By the way does anyone know today's pass/fail criteria for the F16/18 dumb bombs? All this because I was trying to destroy a tank with Mk82. So how close to the tank a Mk82 need to land to destroy it? Does anyone know? I guess a bullseye does the job, but is 50 feet good enought? Thanks.
