I have unintentional removed "Winter Clear" from my mission editor. :helpsmilie: Is there a way to put it back in there? I have a hard time flying on a "Summer Clear Day". Of all the winter weather options I removed the only one I would enjoy flying on. :doh: Cheers N Tnx

Got to like a guy working on such a complex thing as a Flight model on his own. Figuring things out, and learning new skills in the process. Two strafing passes with the Spit and I was on my way to enjoy a nice Hot Chocolate and a couple of stiff drinks..... Actually I think I took more time to hit the targets in the other birds... LOL> Any and all missions you provide are much appreciated. I have a hard enough time learning to fly, land, set-up controllers, and figure out all the different aircraft in my hanger. Mission editor is pretty user friendly I must say. But still more than I could do to come close to your productions... Cheers

razor+r.... you should have been a mechanic. Dam it. I checked my keyboard bindings and booster coil was set to Delete key. Is the default key supposed to be End. Anyways I changed it to End and I was able to start it first time... Thanks again for helping me look in the right place. 3 basic elements to make a gasoline engine run. I was missing one of them... There is no noise except the engine cranking over. No cough or sputter. Almost sounds like the old gal is flooded or the plugs are fouled. Does not seem to be sparking. Yet it works with the cheat keys. The start up routine seems fairly basic for the spit. I can't be that far off from doing something wrong. Even using the tutorial and following along on Start up procedure I have no luck getting a cough or sputter when it turns over. Cheers

Thanks for the speedy reply and links for videos. Using the training tutorial I believe I have done everything according to start-up procedures. Doh, I failed to contact tower to ask for start-up permission. I will try that as a long shot. I have gone through the tutorial and followed along with instructions and still no luck. Like I said not even a burp or cough out of the engine when I do it. Cheers

Not sure if there is something amiss or just me. I started the spit a couple of times the first day it was released. Since then there have been two updates and I have been unable to fire the spit without using the Cheat Keys. Win + Home. I tried in the training area and also in Quick start without guidance. Same result either way. The Spit doesn't even cough or sputter when turning over. When I use the Cheat Start it starts almost every time. I have removed all Mods including skins and still no luck. The last update was done with all mods removed before hand. Integrity check said all was good.Start_UP_Fail.trk The track file shows me trying to start with no luck then I activate Cheat start and it starts. Even after I switch off the running engine and try to restart not even a cough. Cheers

Hi Guys and Gals, Just cause I make parts for Rotary Winged aircraft doesn't mean I know the first thing about flying them. Holding a Hover is like trying to balance a pencil on the end of your......Nose.. Got the Simm in Aug 2016 and I am a full blown DCS addict. Great community in DCS. Lots of people willing to help a newbie and lots of people spending their own free time making Skins, Missions, Campaigns, many other mods or add on's for all to enjoy. My son got me the Spitfire... Bonus on the early release. Got to break it several times before Christmas. I got myself the Viggen. That one will have to wait before I get a chance to break it many times.

Nothing like hearing the intro and final tunes while sitting in a British Icon. Hope you don't mind, as I copied and edited your "Operation Hot Chocolate Mission" and replaced the Mustang with the Spit. Since the Spit is a pain to taxi I changed the start to runway and it tripped both triggers just fine. Highly recommend landing at the far end of the runway. It will save a very long taxi for a nice cup of Hot Chocolate.... Woooot. Thanks again for sharing your excellent creations. Cheers and Merry Christmas to you and your family of Spies.

Thanks for making the mission work properly again. Nice touch with the addition to the mission. Its not a major thing but makes for immersion and entertainment... Well Done... (only tried it in the P51D ) the mission worked flawlessly... I anxiously await more of your creations... Cheers

There seems to be some issues with triggers in missions since the latest update. The powers to be are working on it. Now is a good time to get some practice in with all our new toys. Cheers

Just tried it and someone crazy glued my plane to the deck in mission 2. I played this mission several times before the latest update and it worked fine. Too bad as I enjoyed the mission and I was looking forward to more from Winston 60. Cheers

I was trying to lay low but I think she found me. Either she is taking the package before I get it or something is up with the mission or my config. since last time I flew it. Tried in both mustang and sabre. Trigger to get package not working. Went to first waypoint without package and no other trigger either. Tried to attach track file but I need a token of security.... I knew I shouldn't have pissed her off like that.. LOL Not a big thing. lots of other distractions.. (Spitfire) to keep me busy.... Cheers

59 here. Wet my teeth on the Coleco Adam Computer. Used to play a game called dam busters. It would take an hour to arrive on target then one or two chances to line up the lights on the dam and check your flood light to be at the right altitude to skip your bomb into the dam. Only been doing D.C.S. since August. Wish I found it sooner.

Great Mission, enjoyed the voice-overs. Entertaining flight. Got the dust off the Sabre and the Mustang. Tell your girlfriend, SORRY >> I ate the Chocolates... LOL. Fun mission, thanks for sharing and don't be shy to make more like that. Also managed to nail the take off and made a no bounce 3 point landing for the first time in the Mustang.... Yeah Baby!! Very well done, Enjoyed the mission and the voice-overs. Entertaining and Challenging. Almost like a save game being able to reload mission later and start from where you left off. Well thought out. Nice to see someone showing one of the best birds out of FC3 some Love.... Cheers and Thanks.

Great Event, Great flying on both sides. If PVP Exp. was equal on both sides it could have changed the outcome. I enjoyed watching some Highly skilled Pilots do battle. Was worth the wait. The beauty of the Viggen cannot be denied. It was awesome to see it in flight. I will add it to my collection when it comes out...When D.C.S. Santa arrives early (Dec. 16_for some) I shall be distracted till then... Must add more memory chips to ageing Human Computer Interface to learn all these new toys...
