No it will NOT improve AI. It will just let human controllers to help human pilots with a realistic view of the AWACS + radar tower of their coalition (one view for each coalition). In our squad, this tool replace AI tower + AI Awacs by a real human :)

Here a screenshot that show: - external maps display (the simple grey/blue LotATC one is also available) - the first planes displayed from LotATC server connected with DCS World live (validation of the total process) So the first important step has been completed!

- You will see IA but not interact with them (perhaps one day ;) ) - Yes, I use standard symbol for planes I would like to add TARS management in the software as we use it in my squad. I have already contact Headspace about it some month ago. I will recontact him in few weeks in order to find a solution for that.

In previous LotATC versions, all bogeys are classified as threat. Then, controllers can change its classification on the map and it is automatically share with others controllers on same side. I will keep the same principle for the new version.

That is the goal :smilewink: I develop LotATC since 4 years for all squads that want to have an ATC/CGI component more realistic than a simple F10 view. It manages relief, realistic radar envelops and more! Thanks to all encouragements! :thumbup: And it is LotAtc with a T because that is the acronym of: Lock On Tactical Air Traffic Control

LotATC gives to FC2 an ATC/CGI experience... Compared to LotATC, the DCS version will gives additional features: no export needed server will be a module of DCS World (configuration into DCS) client will be a standalone (no need of DCS World) integration of external maps (google/openstreetmap...) internal chat between controllers AND with pilots in DCS ATC with ILS and others... This list is not exhaustive but gives some axis of my development. (not will be available in first version too :D ) Thanks again for the support of ED in my development as 3rd-party developer. :thumbup: LotATC for DCS is actually as an earlier development stage but I will give news regularly. As this development need time and money for development server, this mods will not be free (more information of what will be free or not and how in few weeks, it is currently under finalisation).

Case has right, I forget to specify it but by disabling the log, you will gain some resources with lot of objects in FC2. Increasing the SAMPLING_PERIOD only affect the first part of server, but the client part (which communicate with LotATC client) will still used same resources. Note that in this case, you lose precision in object position and can get some stange things on LotATC clients (on destruction, new objects in scope).

We successfully work with +40 players on LAN but with a LotATC server on a LOFC2 client (works well without modification). If controllers are in blue and red coalition, the LotATC computation take some times (calculating if all units can be detected by each coalition). So if LotATC is on LOFC2 server with a lot of player, it could generate some problems (depending of server capacities, multi core is better of course). A solution is to use a good LOFC2 client (can be a pilot or better a spectator) with the lua export of LotATC and LotATC server. In our squad, we use a pilot (my old Core2duo is ok for 40 players). We works to limit the CPU use, but well, it need to do the job correctly :)

Thanks! My planning is to adapt LotATC for DCS-A10 (and maintain Fc2 compatibility too) and some extra features: - TS3 support - TARS support (should be great to allow ATC with TARS) - new maps for airports No release date is planned yet ;) but I will work on that.

Hi all, LotATC is sleeping last month due to new job, new baby... However, I am currently integrating some vectorial maps made by Michelange for each airports. I have just get DCS-A10C too (thanks to paypal donation for the project...) so I will certainly try to support it...

You are right :) Unfortunately, I have no time to spend on this mod due to LotATC, LoPlug and a new secret big project :music_whistling:around Lockon that take be lot of time (and my two young children too :D ). However, Tolteque (working with me on LotATC) is working on LOMEFC2. He has made a advanced trigger mechanism and some cool stuff around that. It is currently fixing last bug and test it. So the project take some time to be release but we always hope to release it soon...

Missions cannot be loaded with 3.0.0, you must wait the 3.0.1 to do that (it is currently working on testing version). For runaway, you are right, we have problems with the location and axis of new airports. Will be fixed with 3.0.1 version too. For high-res airports view, double-click on airports... (there is a bug with SAM, desactivate them in filters if you cannot get airport view, fix in 3.0.1 too). Do not hesitate to use the LotATC forum, my response time is better there than here ;)

Are you sure it is the LOMEFC2 Mod, I have not yet release it??? Either you use the subversion repository (you must be a advanced user :) ), either you are talking about the Blindspot mod, it is different for LOME yet ;)

We have been lot busy with the latest version of LotATC 3.0.0 and the preparation of the 3.0.1 but LOME is still under work. We currently work on trigger (new rules/new action) and advanced edition of rules. All the UI is ready and we work on load/save. I always hope to release it ASAP :) Perhaps end of next week... ;)

With this release, you have an airport view with ILS glide by double-clicking on airports ;) Note that only FC1 airports have taxiways screenshots (no time to make new one, will be for next release).

Yes, the community call the LOFC2 release either 2.x or 1.2.x :) LotATC is working with THE LAST version of LOFC 2 ;)
