Whats new on this subject? I've been flying out of mineral nye vody lately in 1.1.0.9, and this has started happening almost every time now and is slowly getting on my nerves...

I had something like this in BS, turned out to be a faulty install. Tried reinstall? Unless of course if the SA-6 is visible to you in SP, then it's something else:)

hmm, wasn't there something about strong wind or turbulence having such adverse effects on the Master caution? I think it was due to the fans windmilling or something. Not sure if this is what you are experiencing though, as I thought it's logic was reworked in an earlier patch, but then again, I could be wrong:)

I've never noted any handedness... Wheather on TO or landing, if I can get it straight in the first place, it stays straight... in my experience anyway...

I think that if you assign a unit with "fac - assign group" (or something like it), it has a check-box for "datalink". I suspect, based on info in this thread, that leaving this unmarked, will disable the units capability of sending the red triangle. So it may not exclusively be dependent on whether the unit got EPLRS equipment. I await correction...

I think you would find a strong correlation, but that doesn't mean you can't be an out-lier;)

hm, Im no expert, but I would think that that CPU should give better FPS. Are your numbers from a mission with alot going on? or from a empty free-flight mission? Reason I ask is because it seems to matter more than scenery etc.

Presuming you have master arm on: 1. go to "DSMS" page on MFCD 2. Select Rockets 3. Aim 4. Fire or 1. Gun switch to on 2. Aim 3. Fire When your out of said ammo, you'll get the inspiration to learn the 2-3 extra steps for mavs and bombs:)

chuck norris has no gun, just ammo which he spits. The bullets then move faster than a bullet. If he wanted to fire a maverick, he wouldn't press release, he'd just tell it what to do. As for the SAM-crew, he would land, and then use the plane itself as his weapon and round-house kick them in the face.

lol, yeah, you could however write down you flight time for the evening, then go to the appropriate lua and edit it into the logbook:)

Well, I think the entire concept of AI needs to ascend to a whole different level before that is feasible, but that said, I don't think ED fears two seated-ness. Remember that they once said they would do apache:) I even saw cockpit screens! :)

Extreme winds can shut down an engine. Think it's got something to do with the wind corrupting the airflow into the engine, and thereby stalling it. I've had it happen a couple of times as well (both 1.1.0.9 and 1.1.1.0), but only in missions with considerable wind-strengths. Was a discussion about this in the past, don't know if it's the same thing thou...

after a substantial amount of Internet research, I have found that a similar problem was common in Lo an FC. Apparently drive-related, and the solution was to enable "write-caching". I then checked my own setting, and it was already set correctly.... Going to purchase a new computer next year, perhaps just sit still in 1.1.0.9 singelplayer until then.. (not the worst)...

Update: I have now tried using an advanced external sound card (Edirol UA-25EX), which I had lying around. Still the same result. I therefore postulate that the issue is not sound-card related, which leaves... well, Everything except the sound card.... frustration is growing.

I don't think he actually meant it, he was simply throwing some sarcasm into the air due to paul's dismissal of reflections, indeed which paul then later clarified. Warthogger probarbly likes aar as well;)
