Looks like it was a mod causing the dcs crashes. But funilly enough it was Upaults Helipads, Cargos and race gates mod. ALL WORKING NOW :) YAY SD

I do run quite a few mods, but all other camapigns and missons seem to run fine. I will re-download the mission in case my version is corrupted in some way as it seems to be working for lots of other folks. I'll report back later and let you know. SD

Sorry to say it mate. but when I try to fly this mission it crashes DCS. I have attached the log file in case it helps. Cheers SD Log.zip

Hey FlightControl. I have watched your vids etc and they are excellent and really informative, but as the subject material is a little abstract and quite hard to get to grips with for a newbie (especially if they have no previous coding experience) a "LUA coding for dummies" guide sounds like a great idea. I love the module and understand that its still in beta but when in flight the spit sounds are just awful. It sounds like a lawnmower. If you strike you prop and the engine dies you can hear a jet engine in there for some reason. I realise that they are probably/Hopefully just placeholder sounds but they really need sorting out. I love flying this thing though, she's a thing of beauty. SD

Really!! So we have to wait maybe 3 or 4 weeks to get this campaign fixed? (as the Beta has just been updated 2.0 will be next maybe sometime over the Xmas holidays then it's the Betas turn again) WOW. I understand to a certain degree, but how long has this thing been broken? quit a while I believe. I am a bit disapointed that a fix didn't make it into this weeks update. It's just as well I have teh Spitfire to take the pain away :) SD

I recently bought a Palit GTX1060 6Gb vid card to replace my old GTX 760 4Gb vid card. But the funny thing (well not so funny really) is I am getting awful FPS in latest 1.5.5 Beta. Not so much in 2.0 Alpha. For instance sitting in the cockpit of the spitfire in the engine starup training mission I get around 27 fps. This can't be right surely. I am running the 376.19 drivers and I game @1080p What are you using cos I see some of you seem to be running 1.5.5 @60+fps. Cheers SD

Hopefully there will be a fix for the campaign today. Thats if there is a patch for the OB. But then again I will probably be too busy flying the Spitfire, at least for a short time anyway :) SD

I think a lot of the angst contained in this thread is due to the fact that what started out as just a couple of different handles for the X55/Warthog has now gone off on a massive tangent with the OP now designing whole cockpit panels and god knows what. It is almost as if he has lost his original focus and is trying to diversify without actually producing anything. I would like to see him stop prototyping and just concentrate on one thing. if he had just concentrated on the handles i'm sure he would have something tangable by now if already in production which in turn would fund any further protoyping. Anyway thats my tuppence worth :) I am still hoping to get my hands on an X55 extension and maby a few different handles for it. Cockpit panels and such are well out of my remit. SD

Definately looking to getting one of these in the new year. One or two questions though regarding the V2 deluxe. Does the plate for the rudder pedals tilt at all or does it stay flat? are the keyboard brackets supplied as standard or are they bought seperately? Cheers SD
