  1. Iraq terrain module is poorly managed and poorly made. I apologize but it's clearly seems to be that way. Urban area are way overly too dense for no good reason, it's even much denser than the real Iraq did... which is not only it doesn't offer any significant of visual quality improvement but it's also hurts the FPS severely. And the very same problem are also present in the Afghanistan terrain module. I’m disappointed not by just the map but also by the artistic approach in general. Honestly, both the Iraq and Afghanistan modules feel like they were rushed out just so they could be put on sale… To me, Early Access is supposed to let people get a proper glimpse of what’s being cooked. A small piece that’s well baked and well managed, one by one, district by district, mountain by mountain, village by village. Instead, what we get is a massive half-baked and half-finished terrain released just to appear finished. I think that’s not what Early Access is supposed to be...
  2. Still can't believe myself how can I pay for this... while I understand the terrains are still in their early stages of development, my concerns are not related to their unfinished state. Instead, it's the general artistic approach that concerns me...
  3. I'm trying to edit the StructTable.sht file located in each terrain's model folder to control which objects appear in the game. However, despite making changes, they don't seem to have any effect in-game. I'm starting to suspect that these StructTable.sht files are being pre-cached. If that's the case, is there a way to force DCS to reload the StructTable.sht file and apply the updated changes? Thank you in advance!
  4. It's more like Vladimir and Ivanovitch instead of Bob...
  5. Allow me to be blunt, but I think ED should consider remaking the Afghanistan terrain entirely, as the current art direction is quite disappointing. If they continue on this path, we'll be stuck with a terrain that feels outdated, reminiscent of the 2010s for another decade!

  7. To fit the title of the new monumental map in DCS and in honor of the 15th Anniversary, I suggest ensuring that the quality of all military bases especially Bastion, Kandahar, and Bagram does not disappoint. Please bring out your best to make them as authentic as possible! Currently, we don't have any airbases in DCS with truly good quality, even to date. The quality of the client's aircraft and the airbases themselves just don't match... it feels disjointed and makes my eyes sore. I understand the need for optimization and the limitations, but please push a little further. Honestly, I'd be more than happy to pay $19.99 just for Bagram alone, or even for some well-known combat outposts! (I'm so sorry everyone I couldn't resist.) but I’m all for it! If the quality is on point and capturing the true mood and tone of Bagram. I'd even be willing to play at 40-50 FPS in VR if it meant having that level of authenticity. (again, I'm so sorry my fellow VR users... myself included XD) Thank you ED!
  8. Hey guys what are your thoughts on Sinai map? I'm desperately need high quality airbase that would be a perfect fit for the Phantom and also its natural habitat. Thank you in advance!
