Brilliant news, and not so long to wait (2 weeks, be sure)! Roll on January.

I addressed this issue by running two installs - one only patched up to 1.1 to watch training missions, and a second fully patched and modded version for playing the sim.

Hi all, hope you can help me. I downloaded some MP training missions which I want to change to single player in the editor. However, when i choose Editor in the launcher, the editor won't open - I get the loading screen only. If I Crtl-Alt-Del I can see an error report (see attached) and then I can view the editor screen. But almost any button I press or attribute I open I get a hang and same/similar error message. Any help with a solution would be appreciated. It's an English DVD edition (Australian), running Vista 32, BS shortcut is set to "run as administrator", BS is in Program Files and the game itself runs fine. Any thoughts? Edit: never mind, it turns out it was the training mission itself that was the main problem. thanks in advance smith

Thanks for this mission. I'm just getting into Black Shark seriously now and this is the first mission I've tried. Quite a nice flight along the coast. I managed to start up, ask for clearances, do a hover test and a takeoff as well as getting the PVI-800 to work. It all turned to custard when I tried landing at the destination airport and i crashed when i tried to land from hover (skidding sideways etc - got to work on that), but I learned heaps along the way. Thanks mate. I already got mine from the UK (couldn't wait), but other Aussies will be happy to see this.

Just a quick note - I'm running DCS on a dual core 6750 not overclocked, 8600GTS and 4 Gb of ram on Vista Home 32. I get good framerates (30-40 in busy areas, which I find absolutely fine and about 70 frames elsewhere) and use DCS Max to set the affinity.

Hi - could you please tell me how to access the missions part of the site? I'm registered on the DCS site, but when I click on Missions under User Files, I get taken straight back to the home page. thanks smith

Mine arrived this morning on the doorstep at home. Made it in absolutely fine condition to Oz in a padded envelope and shrink-wrapped. Looks lovely.
