I can't imagine it'll be there quick sharp...
-
Perhaps you need to do another LOLA - 9099 load, to tell the aircraft it has new stores? Because probably it doesn't think it has anything.

I cannot believe so many people are whining about an early-access product being released on a Beta build, when it's not even Leatherneck's fault that this is the case! "OH THEY DIDN'T DELIVER!" Well, that'll be because ED do their own update schedule and the third parties have to come along for the ride whether they like it or not. Do you think Cobra and Company sat there and said "This'll get em!" MUHAHAHAAH Absolutely not. Those of you whining to the point of "THE TRUST IS GONE" and "BUUUU I WANT A REFUND" need to wake up and smell the coffee. It is reasonably fair to say it will be on the next stable build in a week or two. Why is this such a problem? Completely ridiculous. You lot should try playing EVE Online, where one patch REMOVED BOOT.INI from people's computers, so their entire computer wouldn't boot up!
-
Happened to me once on 104th, then reconnected and it was fine. But yes, definitely a problem.
-
Read the thread, realise you don't have to have a separate client, come back and apologise. Edit - It'll also be on the Stable branch in a week or two, I would expect. So, what are you whining about?

Edit - Works now

AJS-37: Road Base Deployment & Attack on Landing Force
IzoAzlion replied to Hook47's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
Awesome man. I thought "EVERYONE HAS A PRERELEASE EVEN THIS RANDOM GUY!" And then I realised you're the gentleman who organises the awesome Grudge Matches. Awesome vidya. Well deserved too! -
A shame about the Bk90, however the mission I've been making for me and my buddies didn't use it! So hurray for luck! I cannot wait, LNS guys, you've actually made me design a mission! That's how exciting the plane is, haha
-
Is the shadow issue going to affect performance, and can you still see/use everything in the cockpit? Thanks guys, looking forward to it.
-
If you refer to the Leatherneck thread on this, there is a program you can download that just quickly patches your release stable version to beta, and back. Saves installing two clients etc.
-
Can we expect the Viggen at all? Hard to say, as if you had it on both sides you wouldn't know if it's friendly or not (No IFF?) unless you did different paint jobs? And if it was just one side, you wouldn't be able to balance the teams for the first 12 months lol. But i'd love to hear what you guys are thinking. I know mostly it is a ground attack A/C, however there are some ground units in this, and it's about the same era.
-
If the versions are identical then it shouldn't matter is my guess.
-
Literally only need one version and a quick "patch to this version" button. But okay, lol.
-
Hah well we'll be around somewhat in the Worms Revolution channel, look for Hoggbert. I'll be in England for two weeks until about the 16th, but I'll be Viggenning for 4 days before I go!
-
Jesus christ I didn't know that still existed.
-
The actual download size is minuscule, because, again - the game gets copied over, and then updates the few files that actually change.
-
Fair enough not getting on Open Conflict or something, yeah. But private servers with a couple little missions, no big.
-
I don't understand how this is so limiting to people? The download takes minutes because it copies from the current version of DCS and just changes a few files. You could install it on a second non-SSD and run the game just fine...
-
It is an early release product, though, so it's not a huge surprise. You can hit download on the Beta Client, it'll copy most the files over, then you have both the stand alone and the beta. The only pain in the ass is the extra space used by the client. Probably only for a week until they patch the main client.
-
Well for up and down you could assign a hat switch and for in and out assign zoom in/out slow. Easy peasy. But you need enough buttons for it on your stick, cos it's gonna be something you need a lot.

Except the DCS Viggen isn't going anywhere, and the education you're supposed to be getting can go right down the shitter. So uh... forget pixel aviation for a bit? -
