I did ask Maverick about it close to 6 months ago on the 104th thread. He was kind enough to explain the reason. I know the tacview cheating was being addressed but I don't know if there has been any resolution. Tacview also requires the player export to be on. Since some people cannot stand the idea of playing fairly and insist on using tacview to cheat, some servers won't turn it on (104th among them). Sooo... I choose only servers that allow export. I recommend 99th for a good mix with admins on almost all the time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't think it's blatant highjacking to strongly agree here and I'll tell you why. I bought the Rift to have a variety of VR experiences and then I gave DCS a go. I don't use my headset for anything else now. I have played a bunch of VR games and nothing comes close to this simulator for demonstrating how compelling this technology is. It would IMHO, greatly behoove the marketing department of ED to grab this idea and run as hard and fast as they can with it. Hi guys. You know what a big fan I am of the server! I was attempting some Huey ops this evening and went to set up a FOB from which to base my operations and diligently brought 3 crates over to my radio beacon. I felt rather deflated when CTLD informed me that it would take 9 trips to complete the base! There were only 2 hours left before the restart and I figured it would take close to that just to build the thing if I could keep my soul from being destroyed by the monotony. consistently CTD I wanted to wrap this up (months later). The solution came with running msconfig and disabling all non-essential startup services. I suspect that the problem was occurring with some program somehow straining my USB resources. You see, I have a pci card for my wifi which uses the lane for 2 of my USB 3 ports. With the rift, a jetseat, and TMWH, as well as the normal peripherals on an ASUS p8z77-v-pro board I am about maxed out. I don't use my system for much more than gaming, photo editing and filthy internet activities and I haven't missed whatever service that I put to bed. Please feel free to castigate me in the most belittling way if I've used an incorrect thought process or term. Thanks again for all the help. Bitmaster and Bignewy you are a pearls among swine! I haven't as the settings seem to be pretty spot on. I didn't know you were also expecting a rift. You're in for such a treat! The jetseat gives really good feed back with regard to loading your rotor in the helicopters and approaching stalls in fixed wings. The seat with the Rift is life changing. Definitely with Sith and Yurgon! I love nothing more than coordinating with others to accomplish a goal. I find that doing it against AI eliminates the human tendency to find any way possible to eek out an advantage even if it lies outside the delineated framework...if you catch my drift. Perhaps you should contact your bank. I know that I have been sent notifications when making foreign transactions. I think it's fascinating just how insular we are in the US. Banks just assume that if we're buying something overseas it is nefarious. Not to get political but we seem to be heading in the wrong direction. I don't recall paying any unreasonable import tax, but I don't think those costs are as transparent in the U.S. There isn't a value added tax here but rather a "sales" tax that generally is determined by the state in which the sale was made. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I do as well and you likely will need them for VR. First, I bought a pair of glasses with wire frames from zenni optical- they worked well but were still not very comfortable and would smudge if they touched my eye lids. I then bought a set of lenses from vrlenslab.com- these are much better but don't fit the HMD all that well and take ages to ship (from Thailand).
