Hiya, i have a question about mission 5, after wp3 the order is to switch for combat radio VHF 235 AM, is this correct? Because i can't tune to that frequency on the VHF radio? Or is it a typo, and it suposed to be UHF? Also, not that it matters but the conformation report on wp2/ipm is still in russian text

Yea, but the task remains on getting the men of the roof. If I remember correctly it used to change to putting the fire out. Also i can't seem to refill the water at the firetruck (the one who has the signal glare on it, west of kobuletti).

Ow k, I didn't know about the dcs bug. Yes, i did receive a successful completion message. If I go back to the roof there are no troops anymore.

Hi, I believe the enemy AI aircraft aren't engaging anymore. Also I think at least some of the firefighter missions are broken. It keeps saying to get the men of the roof at the same location, while i've already dropped them off at the tents. Also i cannot seem to refill the water at the firetruck.

Just buy a normal ssd with a sata connection. You could go for an even faster ssd (m2) with a pci upgrade card but you won't see any difference in dcs and other games

I found my problem (took me a whole day :p). Seems that if the acm cover is in the open position, it puts the missile option on boresight, and it needs to be set on normal for RIO use. xD

yup the missile prep is on and, if i switch back to the pilot i can fire the phoenix missile.

I am unable to launch any missiles as a RIO with the launch button, it also doesn't lit up. On the pilot side; My master arm is on & phoenix missiles are selected. On the RIO side; Target is radar locked and declared hostile. Am i missing something?:joystick:

Ow ok, thanks for the reply, but the thing is if roll back to much when i spawn on the cat, i can't seem to get hooked in anymore? I'm pretty sure im on the right spot but i keep getting the message "you are not close enough to any catapult" I 've set the carrier like described in the manual that heclak posted. here's a pic:

Forward and backwards, have to keep the brake on or else I'll roll off the back of the deck. Even when the carrier is set to 0 knts

First of all congrats on this amazing module, I had a blast flying this beauty since I discovered it a couple of days ago. I am sorry if this is already mentioned before but did anyone successfully ré-started on a carrier ? It seems the ground elec pow bugs out on the stennis, it appears for a split second and then dissappears again.

You can argue that the GR aren't the best pilots to give a review. And you are probably right, nevertheless they are very popular on yt, and make entertaining videos. I had 2 friends that I have been asking to join me in DCS for 5 years now, but they where like "no its to difficult, no time,.. etc". Well half a year ago they both started watching GR vids to my amazement and telling me how cool it looks, lolz. This Christmas they actually started buying modules. So yeah, thanks GR I may have found a Rio after all. So at least I hope HB change their minds and at least give them a copy on release. I think they deserve this!

Just bought the huey and really like it, but to be honest it's kinda sad there hasnt been a decent update for it since 2.5 came out. So I get it, that some people are frustrated. Anyway where should I look for these newsletters? Any links pls?
