:book: Not much we can do beside sending oculus some feedback. But I don't think they would listen anyway. They have already proven to be very intrusive, since you need to be connected to the oculus network in order for the rift to work. If their connection is down you can't even use the rift (which happend before). And now since the last update, the oculus home crap. :huh:

+1 I think most of us would agree that it's better to have a good working update, then a rushed update with game breaking bugs.

Your TM Warthog has a optional AB detent where you have to finger lift the throttle for AB to engage (check a yt vid if you don't know how to install the detent). That being said i've had some issues on a sever as well in the past. After the carrier launched me, I did not have enough speed to take off, and plunged into the sea. Can't reproduce this as well.

What I do is put the throttle to the max. And look at it, then press numpad +, if the throttle still moves forward you need to adjust throttle curve probably. Also is your throttle using a AB detent? If you look in the options, and go to the special tab. Theres an option to check/uncheck AB detent.

I run skyrim VR perfectly on my 970 gtx. Even on high settings and with PD turned half up, still hitting a solid 90 fps. It's very well optimized

I dont think this will help alot with performance like in DCS or other games, but it worked well for the desktop app performance since its rendered along with the VR home room, and at least you dont have to load in the whole VR room before you can play a game

Dude!!! Thank you so much for this!! After oculus forced dash upon us i was pretty mad, took me about 2 hours to turn that awful environment sound off, but i have to say that i really like the desktop app. I tried playing DayZ with the desktop app, but it started stuttering after a few minutes of gaming because the home VR still runs in the background with all the moving objects etc. But with the solution you linked my GPU usage went from 100 percent to +/- 55 percent and the stutter never kicks in :thumbup:

FFS, came home from work (frustated) wanted to kill some bandits and now i have to deal with this crap. Even steam VR wont start without Oculus home. So now we have to run both oculus an steam VR to play a steam VR game. Anyways thanks for this topic it probably saved me alot of time

WOW, a childhoods dream coming true :) i think i watched the video like 10 times. I'm sorry if this is already explained somewhere else but will the pre-order version be cheaper then the release version? edit: Never mind, im blind :)

Don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind having the amraams as well. The spawning of enemy AI at faster speeds then the hornet flies doesn't make it easy. I usually try to stay clear from those zones

Yes but the amraams where never in the server before. Admin just forgot to take them off the carriers or block them after ED updated them to the hornets but didn't mentioned them in the patch notes at first!

Admin cannot reply atm (at least in this topic), but I asked him a couple of days ago about arming the carriers and that should be fixed today. As for the aim-120's they where never allowed, i agree that it's difficult since the enemy AI has ET and ER missiles and they all fly faster then the hornet. But now you can loft the AIM-7MH, although you might not get a kill from this, most of the time it forces enemy AI to go defensive

Make sure your approach isn't to steep. I can clearly see the ball even while I'm still in the turn. If your to high you won't see the ball, whilst if your to low you will see a red ball -
had the same problem yesterday, re-spawned and all was fine.

Don't think this is a bug. The range is probably not displayed above 99.9 nm irl as well

Sorry for being a noob, but when ED says it can't reproduce the problem isn't that because the track system just never worked? I have some MP tracks from when the bug occurs but if i try to replay them i just get a view of the map with no units or nothing. But when i change the .trk to .miz i can fly the mission -
Hi, sorry for late reply but I don't think is a bug. I just tested it again and tacan is working for John 1 and 2, but not for John 3. Even tried taking off with a working tacan from j1 then flew to j3 changed tacan to x3 but not working. Maybe something else is already on tacan 3 and is conflicting? :joystick: Is there any way I could download the mission?

Yup loadout is fixed for me. Checked again on the tacan 3 and its not pointing at a destroyer like i said. Its pointing at something but then it loses track again and no range indicator. I think it might be just a F-18 bug not sure. Anyway thanks for the fix :thumbup: Best training sever out there
