  1. OK, thanks Minsky. I guess I'll ignore the other one. Thanks again for all the great work!
  2. I'm interested in why there are so many differences between the RWR charts and others available. Same threats but different symbols, some missing from both lists etc. Examples attached.
  3. I believe IL2 will not work because it doesn’t have separate axis binds and it will detect the buttons first. I don’t use IL2, but that’s my theory!
  4. All looks Ok except for the step value of 400. With it set to that, you'd need 150 activations to make a full turn! Values of 3000 or 6000 are more common. however, that doesn't solve your issue. Are you sure you are selecting the axis from the drop down in DCS as per my attachment? It won't detect virtual axis by moving them like normal axes.
  5. On your thread on the same subject in the Virpil forum, i asked you this: 'do the axes - not the encoder buttons - show OK in JoyTester? In DCS, you have to manually select it from the axis drop down menu. I think they are joy_slider_1 and 2.' Do they show OK in JoyTester? Please post a screenshot of one of your virtual axis tabs and your button tab showing the same as @splash above.
  6. To be honest, I personally don't think that is well explained at all. Firstly, he's giving confusing advice. There is no 'no 5 way modifier' for the CP2, so that whole section is misleading. Secondly, the method he is using is pretty messy and uses up all the shift modes. He also doesn't even seem to achieve the landing gear going red when up and green when down.
  7. Can someone remind me how to get the mod version number to show up? I thought it was taken from a VERSION.TXT file, but obviously not. Thanks. EDIT: It's OK, I found the info on page 2.
  8. Post on Virpil forums about tis. you'll almost certainly get a reply form a tech.
  9. Just assign 'Make Screenshot' in Controls>UI Layer to a button on your HOTAS.
  10. Yes, I started that thread and I appreciated your detailed explanation. I was just looking for official confirmation that the behaviour had changed in DCS as TMs and Wags's videos show the yellow square as an unknown response. BN has confirmed that a change was made.
  11. Thanks. Seems to be only that one mission, i.e. M01 of the Dominant Fury campaign. There are some droplets, but nothing like what I see on YT vids for the same mission. If I generate my own mission, the rain looks OK. Also, I have that yellow, streaky rain which the vids don't show either.
  12. Thanks for the quick reply. Do you mean the 'Rain Droplets' option? If so, then that is checked, but I'm not seeing any rain droplets on the canopy at all.
  13. See attached. My rain is bottom image and as a comparison - in the same mission - there is an screenshot of what others see, the top image. Difficult to get the differences over in a static screenshot, but hopefully it will show enough. Others rain looks really nice and realistic, but mine certainly doesn't. Anyone know why this is?
  14. Try Axes Curves>Throttle Linearity Calculation. Bit fiddly, but that should help. Go through it slowly until you get ticks in all intervals.
  15. Can someone please clarify what is the correct IFF4 behaviour to unknown response. There are various threads on this but I haven't seen a definitive answer to this. TMS left short, response with a yellow square shown in - DCS Stable version, Wag's videos (e.g. November 2022 Update), NCTR Training mission, etc. No response - current DCS OB behaviour, various people contributing to threads here on this. Just curious to know.
  16. So, as the TM says there should be a square for negative IFF response, and Wags's video from a few months ago shows a yellow square for a negative IFF, has the behaviour changed recently? Just curious.
  17. Thanks guys. The only thing is, that the instructor in the TM for this topic specifically says that the unknowns will show a square around them.
