  1. Yeah there are some very talented people around, that’s amazing they can make skins so well without the texture template. I’m really looking forward to creating a particular F-14 scheme.
  2. Wow that’s a lot of work well done it’s looking great!
  3. Nice! I’m really looking forward to the old gull grey over white schemes. How are you making skins without the texture template if you don’t mind me asking?
  4. You can add unlimited aircraft to the Stennis if you assign them as take off from parking 1, then change them to parking 4 before you add the next aircraft. We spawn in one at a time and taxi to to the landing area to stay clear of the elevators and catapults. If you get a ‘flight delayed’ simply go to spectators then select your jet and hit fly again. A Tomcat will crash on a flight delayed but it works fine for Hornet.
  5. Make sure parking spot 1 is changed to 4 for each aircraft you add and you should be able to keep adding them.
  6. Great work thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Hornets and Tomcats coming aboard.

  9. This one features a short teaser for our combat movie that is in production!
  10. Awesome thanks Wags / ED!

  13. Amazing - especially if he wasn't set to "no collision".
  14. I cannot wait for LITENING. I am so looking forward to being able to do full 9-line CAS with a sensor and lasing like we had in A-10C. For those of you that never flew the Hawg, you are going to love having the LITENING on your jet!
  15. Awesome work Matthew, really cool to see the angled deck drift layed out like that! In the VFA-113 mission we also run 26knots/no wind more maximum line up challenge. For me it’s FPM bear cat 2s JBD at the start, crutch IM then AR it drifts to the right side of the 3rd white centerline marker from the front of the landing area. But yeah MEATBALL all the way for glideslope.
  16. Yes we agree. I’m happy to leave it to ED to decide what goes on their Hornet. We don’t need threads of people questioning everything ED does based on something they heard somewhere. I worry ED actually listens and tries to avoid forum outrage (hence the MavG disappearing). LITENING is an awesome stop gap and I don’t care if there’s empty space between it and the cheek, a Hornet can carry it there and I’d like the option to put it there so I can simulate realistic Hornet load outs (double ugly etc). Carrying it on the center is less realistic for carrier based ops IMHO. It isn’t a big deal I’ll go with whatever ED say but all these folks claiming to know better shouldn’t have any input. ED has direct access to ‘legit’ folks for SME feedback, people in these forums posting what they think the Hornet was wired for is redundant and probably frustrating to ED.
  17. Who cares what’s ‘legit’ according to ‘several Hornet pilots’? Sometimes aircraft have capabilities that aren’t used regularly but that doesn’t mean it’s not something ED can add to their Hornet for us to use. The complaining about the MavG and the Litening is what I’m referring to. I really hope ED aren’t listening to every complaint about what they can and can’t add the F/A-18C. It’s a flight sim not a classic car resto. I don’t care about timelines/ mod status blah blah - just put whatever a Hornet could carry on there and let’s have fun. If you’re a hyper realism pureist just don’t load whatever you have issues with.
  18. Cheers guys, the VFA-113 flight deck wire paint is something I don’t know how people live without :) It also makes the landing area markings easier to see and the heavy tire skids show where aircraft should be touching down.
  19. I really do not care if it’s ‘unrealistic’ to have litening on the cheek. It’s an awesome stepping stone to ATFLIR and I’d prefer to get practice with it located on the cheek. If you’ve got hyper-realism issues just wait for ATFLIR.
  20. I agree my Warthog slew is unusable when depressed. Works perfectly as the radar slew (not pressed). If we could have this option back for the Mavs that would be awesome.
  21. Cheers guys and Deano thanks for your kind offer from before. Thanks Eldur, the voices are in-game and are timed for the pilot ball call response. It’s the VFA-113 Stingers LSO mission which I first made around 2012. It has been updated over the years with input from many real world US Navy aircrew. It is designed for use with our LSO grading system which is what you see on our PLAT cam videos. It ensures objective/consistent and fair grading for every approach using human LSOs. You can download it along with our PLAT cam mod from our website at the bottom of the first page.
  22. Yes.
  23. Thanks guys! Yes coming out of the SHB I really find trouble remembering to trim! I think the meatball is good but I find at the ramp I am making sure the pitch is 5 and the FPM cuts the 3rd white centerline mark from the end to get a 3 wire. I do find there is some sort of burble/ground effect that kicks my nose down 2 degrees at the ramp if I’m not prepared to catch it. But yeah this extension is very cool, especially if you center mount your Warthog.
