Have you switched on Global Cockpit Illumination (iirc thats the setting) in the Graphics Settings of DCS? Switching it on should make it brighter.

Looking at the 1986 Flight Manual the following Pods are allowed on Station 4 and 6: ALQ-71 ALQ-72 ALQ-87 ALQ-101 ALQ-119 ALQ-131 AIM-9B/E/J/N/P on the Station 2 & 8 Launcher Rails (both inboard and outboard) are allowed for these Pods: ALQ-71 ALQ-72 ALQ-87 AIM-9B/E/J/N/P on the Station 2 Inboard Launcher Rail and Station 8 Outboard Launcher Rail: ALQ-101 IIRC reasoning to allow the ALQ-131 on Station 2 & 8 was the absence of the other Pods. With the 3" Spacer on the Sidewinder Launcher Rail I reckon it's not clearing the Pod enough hence it wasn't an allowed loadout.

The 1986 Flight Manual mentions only unretarded Matras. Thats why I added the Low Drag ones. I also asked our German SMEs but they only ever flew Air to Air. -
Well, if we'd to keep such a loadout, I would say we need to implement some sort of damage that would occur when firing a Sidewinder as is (Sidewinder goes kaputt and jet stays fine, sidewinder goes up and breaks the slat/wing, sidewinder does crazy stuff and the whole airframe is lost for example). Because if, like it currently is, the Sidewinder can be fired without any effects to the jet, thats some sort of advantage that shouldn't exist. IRL there was no security layer in place that would inhibit the Launch of the Missile with any ordnance still present on the Pylon. The only combo thats allowed by the Dash-1 is CATM-9 with BDU-33s on the TER. Now was there potentially countries that didn't care for the Dash-1? Possibly. But again, if they first had to jettision the Ter before being able to fire a Sidewinder, they would have faced a potential loss of airframe when they'd forget to jettison the Ter. The Israeli Loadouts on the Pictures posted above work without dropping the TER first because the Lau-7 is specially spaced. Thats a custom mod by the Israelis. Our SMEs basically said they never flew with a loadout that wasn't allowed by the Dash-1.

@BarTzi I'm looking into it right now and it looks like the Israeli Air Force spaced out their LAU-7 Launcher further for the Sidewinder to Clear the TER of when the Missile leaves the Rail. With LAU-7 modeled right now, the Fins of the AIM9 would be right in the way of the Bomb Hold Mechanism and not clear it when the Missile leaves the Rail. So we have the MCD / USAF Standard 3" LAU-7 Spacer modeled, the Israelis, as with many custom mods by them, spaced out their LAU-7 Launchers further to trade one Bomb for one Heater.

Regarding this Screenshot from the Trailer: Loadout restrictions weren't in place at the time thats why this Loadout was possible ingame.

Ich bin die Tage irgendwann mal bei Dan und begrabbel der Gerät mal. Bin gespannt wie sichs anfühlt. Dann kann ich berichten.

Verbessern sich die Frames wenn du den Radar ausschaltest? Jester übers menü deaktivieren und dann im WSO Pit den Radar Schalter auf Off? Welche Mission nutzt du als Benchmark? Wie verhält es sich wenn du im Editor eine F4 platzierst und sonst nix?

Scheinbar hab ich eine DCS Foreneinstellung die alle Signaturen ausblendet, hab ich nicht gesehen, sorry! @-LEO- Wie siehts dann jetzt aus mit der MT-Exe? Deutlich besser spielbar oder immer noch meh? Du nutzt MSAA zur Kantenglättung mit einer GTX 1060. MSAA ist so ziemlich die GPU fressendste Art der Kantenglättung. Hier eventuell mal ohne Testen zwecks Frames Vergleichen / Trouble Shooting. Das nächste Update wird div. Fixes und Ansätze zur Performance-Verbesserungen auf Low & Mid End Systemen mitbringen, wir hoffen natürlich, dass die dann Fruchten.

Um hier helfen zu können brauchen wir mal mindestens deine PC Specs und nen DCS.log um zu sehen was DCS so macht wenn du in der Phantom sitzt. Außerdem: Startest du DCS über die \bin-mt\dcs.exe damit auch Multithreading von DCS genutzt wird? Welche Antiviruslösung nutzt du und sind dort DCS als Ausnahmen hinzugefügt?

"Ziemlich wabbelig" und "1-2 unvorhersehbare Schlenker" helfen jetzt nicht unbedingt ein etwaiges Problem zu identifizieren. Bei welchen Manövern? AFCS an oder aus? Welches Gewicht? Welche Beladung? Track oder Video?

Happy to add it! Really good looking, fresh paintjob! Also whats funny is that they put all the Warning and other Stencils around the Nose but not all over the rest of the jet. Usually, the factory painted jets had ALL the Stencils and later it went down to only important ones and / or Panel Numbers. Or none at all. Thank you for the pictures, saved @Aqil Huseynov looking at you here

Good catch. I actually made the OD 131 (it's on the Grey 301st) but forgot to apply it to the other JASDF Jets. Will fix!
