Hi, No, it doesn't. Light attack aircraft require air superiority. Best regards, Tango.

Hi, Please see the fix here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=137350 Best regards, Tango.

He says thank you to the development team, and it is great to be able to buy a product made in Spain. ¡Muchas gracias, Peter97! Best regards, Tango.

Releasing with AFM would delay the whole project another 6 months. We can't survive as a company doing that, so releasing with SFM is the next best option for us. We want AFM as much as you do, but unfortunately it takes time. The aircraft development is the easy part - the AFM is a bit harder to get right (you can have a mathematically correct flight model that flies nothing like reality - the tuning takes the time). We will have more information as soon as it is available. Best regards, Tango.

Hi, Please see the attached for the CoreMods fix. This will hopefully prevent the problem of it being selected as flyable, etc.. Best regards, Tango. C-101CoreModsFix.zip

Thank you very much indeed! Our modeler and texture artist have done an outstanding job. Best regards, Tango.

We are aware of this and it should be fixed in the next update. We were not aware ED were going to add it public CoreMods, otherwise we would have sorted this out first. If the fix is small we will release an update you can apply manually. Best regards, Tango.

Thanks for the feedback - we are still discussing this. We will try and release a definitive release strategy shortly, so there is no question of what will happen. Thank you for your support and continued feedback - we greatly appreciate it. Best regards, Tango.

Hmm - you might need to wait for the next update for it to be fixed (there are some issues with the current CoreMods even here in our dev environment). We have fixed these, and we are sending these updates to ED as fast as we can (we didn't know it was going to be released today). :P We have a separate developer dedicated to AFM programming, so systems development is not impacting AFM development. It's simply the fact that AFM is not easy to do, and takes a long time. We can't short-cut this process, and we don't want to either; we want the highest quality flight model we can get. Best regards, Tango.

We don't comment on other developers. It simply comes down to time and cost. Would you be willing to wait for the C-101 if it meant having AFM at release instead? Best regards, Tango.

Hi, Thanks for the comments. We will certainly consider what you've said. Regarding the units - the C-101 is a mix. Basically the real thing came down to what the instrument was calibrated for when it was installed! The C-101 has the following units: * feet (altimeter, cabin altitude) * ft/min (vertical speed indicator) * kts (airspeed indicator) * lbs (for fuel quantity) * psi (hydraulic system pressure, oxygen pressure) Best regards, Tango.
-
You will initially be able to purchase the C-101 as SFM *only*. Once the AFM is ready, you will be able to purchase the update for *both* aircraft for $10. Best regards, Tango.

It is already fixed! :P Thank you!!! :D :D Best regards, Tango.

Depends on how fast I can type! :D Best regards, Tango.
-
My bad! EB has VOR radio implemented!! Best regards, Tango.
-
If it is systems fidelity and modeling you are looking for, then you will definitely find that in the C-101! This is designed from the ground up to be a high fidelity training product, with input from type-rated pilots and engineers. Best regards, Tango.

Same manual, dedicated sections. Where there is commonality, there will only be one section for both (this will apply to common systems for example, e.g. electrical and hydraulic). Best regards, Tango.
-
Hi, We need to get the manual written in English first. Based on feedback in this thread, and a few PMs, we hope to translate the manuals into: * Spanish * Italian * Chinese Best regards, Tango.
-
I've written VOR radios, but none of our aircraft use them (yet). Best regards, Tango.

I have forwarded the request... just waiting for an answer. :D Best regards, Tango.

She's a delta - land slow and with high pitch attitude, but with a slow sink rate. It is going to feel very slow but aim for about 300 kph. You WILL lose sight of the runway, this is why you need to adopt the "Space Shuttle" type approach profile (steep(er), with an early flare). Another technique is the curved approach, but takes a bit more finesse on roll-out otherwise you can over-control and get into pilot-induced oscillation due to the roll inertia. Take her up to 1000 m and get used to flying her slowly with loss of the visual horizon. Practice slow, level turns in this configuration. You will find it is easier than you think. In the landing attitude, the horizon line is approximately just below the RADAR distance indicator. Best regards, Tango.

Which aircraft has VOR capability? Best regards, Tango.
-
Correct. Best regards, Tango.

Hi, The aircraft actually has 6 hard-points, but the Sea Eagle is so big, you can't use them. Yes, the aircraft is VERY heavy when carrying two of these. C-101EB will be released first. Best regards, Tango.
