Hi, Whilst you're waiting for the release of the C-101, here is a WIP Quick Start Guide to help you familiarize yourself with the cockpit layout and normal procedures, ready for when the aircraft is made available! Please note that this document is WIP, as is the main aircraft manual (not available yet). Best regards, Tango. C-101 Quick Start Guide - V0.04.pdf.zip

To clear up the confusion: yes, we hope it will be made available today. Some of the comments were complaining about "why didn't we release yet" and degrading into "they should know better!". As every software developer on the planet understands: "it's ready when it's ready". Best regards, Tango.

Here's an idea: we'll delay release until the the CC and the AFM are totally finished, then we'll release... The comments are going downhill. Please keep it considerate. We know you are eager to get your hands on the C-101, but we have done what we can. Thank you for your support, and we hope that some time today you can hit the "DOWNLOAD" button! :D 8) Best regards, Tango.

Motivated!! Best regards, Tango.

Think of it as a single-seat aircraft with training capability, or ability to carry a spotter, etc... The aircraft is designed to be operated single-crew. 8) Now, I'd better get back to programming... :D Best regards, Tango.

A mere rounding error in the calculation of GDP would erase any trace of the impact of the sale of the C-101 I would suggest. :D Best regards, Tango.
-
You can send your money to: AvioDev c/o Swiss Bank Switzerland Failing that, it will be available in the DCS store imminently. :D Thank you for your support! 8) Best regards, Tango.

Hi, You will be able to purchase through the DCS store imminently. Thank you for your support! 8) Best regards, Tango.

Triggered when certain conditions are met. GPU can be called at will. Best regards, Tango.

...ground or airborne behavior? Best regards, Tango.

Hopefully soon after release. They need to be sorted out so they are easier to use. Best regards, Tango.

Quick update: The files are now in the hands of ED, so all being well, release should be imminent! 8) Thank you to everyone who has shown their support during this development! We greatly appreciate it, and we hope you enjoy flying the C-101 very shortly!! :D Best regards, Tango.
-
Yes. When we sent the files to ED we did not realize there was a delay whilst they tested the installers, so it has pushed the release day back 24 hours. Best regards, Tango.

In the case of the VPJT L-39 we estimate 4000+ man-hours of work went into the project. I'll leave you to crunch the numbers on that one. If you think that level of work is impossible for 2 devs, over a 2 year period, given that we worked on it whenever we could that is only ~20 hrs/week per developer. Best regards, Tango.
-
At release the C-101 will be a "DCS:" product, not "a product for DCS". DCS:C-101 ... 2 days to release... ;) Best regards, Tango.
-
I think you will enjoy flying it more than you think. I gave an Su-27 a run for its money last night. He had to RTB due fuel; I still had 6 hours worth... Best regards, Tango.
-
Correct. Best regards, Tango.

At this point, the Quick Start Guide should be available (I'm working like crazy on it :D ). Missions, and the complete flight manual, will follow. Please remember we are releasing a BETA product at this stage. Best regards, Tango.

BST have greater resources for AFM dev than any other 3rd party, and any comparisons with LN are bogus - they had more time and Kickstarter funding to get the expertise in place to start development on AFM earlier. Please do not underestimate the work involved in AFM development - it can be greater than the rest of the aircraft combined. Best regards, Tango.
-
Gracias! Estamos muy agradecidos por ello! Thank you! We greatly appreciate it! Best regards, Tango.

You're welcome! Best regards, Tango.

Thank you! Yes. Best regards, Tango.

No. The textures are done by JuanOscar. Best regards, Tango.

As always, we don't comment on other developers. :) I don't understand what cichlidfan is talking about. We have released exactly zero products. What other developers choose to do or not do is not our concern, though of course we are watching what happens closely - that is just standard business practice. :) This discussion is starting to look like it is approaching the event horizon. If we haven't made it clear yet: * We are releasing SFM now to prevent delay caused by AFM development * We are still discussing whether to offer SFM & AFM, or AFM only, once the AFM is ready Just to really throw the proverbial cat amongst the pigeons - if you know how to edit a few files, then you can disable AFM, and edit the SFM such that you can still cheat and fly a rocket if that is what you want to do. :P Before you get too worried though, we will implement measures that will make this harder to do. Best regards, Tango.

Pilot skill. :D Best regards, Tango.
