  1. Hello. MAV is deselected each time you switch from Neutal to GUN or Magic, leading to a lost of ir lock by switching from gun to magic or from magic to gun by using CNM. By binding CNM Gun/Magic instead of CNM Gun/Magic else Neutral, you can switch from gun to magic without ir lock lost. But on the real aircraft, CNM is 3 positions switch and you can't switch from gun to magic without passing through neutral. It's strange to be able to acquire IR lock in Gun mode but to lost it by switching to IR missile. MAVdiasble.trk MAVdiasble2.trk

Hi We can add this concerning V/UHF radio: -MEM button doesn't work (already noticed) -XFR button doesnt work as intended, it should allows to switch between active and memory frequency.(already noticed) -Chanel selection with dial pad doesn't work as intended. If you press X, it selects CH X+1, up tu CH 9 then it's normal. -Mode selector has a weird behavior, you can turn it all the round by left click then normal oprating mode become HQ instead of FF. -Squelch doesn't work -Guard overlay doesn't work -Guard selection on mode selector doesn't work.
  3. Well, technically if there is windmilling, there is HYD pressure and elec power for CDVE, even if I don't know if it's modeled.

  6. Hi Galinette I think you confuse Magic Unlock / position update with magic Slave / INS désignate. The first one is use for overfly update and the second for Radar OBL update. "Le bon chasseur" knows the difference:smilewink:

  10. It's not possible to update the INS with the master arm on. I don't know if it's intended or a bug.
  11. I finaly did it!! I scored 90% with 11kills. I pass each mission with at least partial succes. Most of them were snap shots like in your exemple. I cheat a little bit with unlimited ammo. I just wish, if possible to obtain the kill when the IA run away damaged, because it's a pain to chase them before the end of the vull time. I fanally have some fun playing this campaign. Thanks for your advises Sabre.
  12. You can add this regarding the INS: If you switch the INS on back up mode (SEC), you lost only waypoint steering. You should lost Flight path marker and firing solutions because INS is just an AHRS in this mode. If you switch it off, same (you can fly with eveything working exept waypoint steering with an INS switched off :music_whistling:). This may appear as a tiny detail but this is symptomatic how systems are modeled in a simplistic way.
  13. MrPilot Won his fight with only one engine in AB:music_whistling:. I won this campaign some time ago but now due some changes in AI behavior it's near impossible to win any fight. Please test by yourself, this campaign is not fun annymore , just a nightmare of difficulty.
  14. Did I mention CCRP? INS bombing is used mosty in CCIP and it's principal delivery mode. If you don't use it that's called Target of oportunity. As you know the navigation system is not precise enought to guide you precisely on target, you need to preform a run attack. The principle: find something easily "spotable" called IP and from then perform a short (2min) navigation to the target. IRL it's done with 1/50000 or 1/100000 maps and set in the system via the MIP (Datacartrige). With the mirage NAV system you select a waypoint as an IP and Target is on BAD. As the BAD is tied to the waypoint the drift deosn't metter, as long as you designate the IP properly. Currently the CCIP INS bombing is even more bugged than CCRP. You can not designate the IP at all.:cry: I don't ask for any advises how to use the INS neither for some fantasy systems.   15. Yes I know, but, unfortunately, this not very precise, especially because we need to use the scroll roll and set it to Radial/distance instead of Delta L/G.
  16. As we don't have data cartrige (like the Viggen), it could be a good idea to implement the possibility to add BAD throuht the mission editor. This should makes the INS bombing mods a lot more usefull. Thanks.

  19. True. But I spoke about Pre-Gulf War/Cold War A/G low level doctrine. This is what 2000C SNA was designed for and shine:joystick:.
  20. N stand for Nuc, -5 for the 5 displays in the cockpit and I'm not sure for the D but I think it's "Diversifié" (diversified). AG on 2000C is a matter of doctrine more than aircraft capabilities. A well modelled/Bug free Mirage should be a very good AG platform. For instance the french Jaguar which is Mirage2000C contemporary AG platform was considered as a good ground pounder, but its weapon system was worse than a mirage.

  22. here is lot of problems concerning the INS, for exemple: In SEC mode the INU is supposed to work like an AHRS, so no waypoints, no Flight Path Marker and "energy chevrons". In the game you keep the FPM an d chevrons More serious, in VEI, OFF or damaged the, INU should'nt provide anything. So no ADI, no HSI, no firing solutions, no heading or attitude in VTB and VTH unless you rely on the standby attitude (switch on right side). Currently in the game everything works perfectly with INU switched off. A last one: Waypoints displayed on the VTB does'nt drift like the INS. I don't want to be harsh but I have sometimes the feeling the coders don't understand very well what they are supposed to replicate.

  24. Congratualation with this plane, this is in my own opinion the best non 3rd party mod. I have noticed some bugs: -There is a big problem with the altimeter. It's not possible to set the altimeter correctly. An increase in the setting lead to a decrease of the altitude. This should be in the other way. In reality if you increase the setting the altitude increase as well. Furthermore the step between 2 hectopascal should be 27 feet, but it's closer to 15 feet in your plane. -I managed to use the GPS and when you select a waypoint, the needle on the HSI doesn't point toward the waypoint but the distance seems correct. I hope this will help ;)
  25. Set Ukraine on Blue Team. It works with both EWR. Unfortunatly GCI speak in Russian with metric units.
