  1. In autorotation pitch work perfectly but yaw will only move to the right. Left doesn't seem to be working and I can't figure out why.
  2. Well since I'm a flyboy and not a ground pounder I just have to get used to this color coding.
  3. I managed to put 4 AA units on a map in HOLD mode so that I could try to figure out how to use them...BUT I can't get them out of HOLD mode and there is absolutely no current documentation on how to use CA. The only thing I've been able to find is 10 years old. It's no wonder you never see anybody use it, they can't figure it out.
  4. I love this mod but like RedeyeStorm, the sight is right and low on everything I try. I've tried looking for the files used to center the sights but I'm not any kind of coder and it all looks like Russian to me. I will continue to use this mod but I'm going to have to use the guesstimation method to sight my targets until you can tell us how to center the retical.
  5. The title says it all. When I want to be the waist gunner and hit the 4 button, I'm put in the middle of the cargo compartment. I can see the gunner in the doorway and he moves correctly but I can't see to shoot anything.
  6. @eaglecash867 I'm using OpenXR and the toolkit that goes with it. When I turn the MR on with the toolkit, my video looks like I am looking through a sheet of water. I don't know what's causing this and have not had the interest to pursue it.
  7. I've been looking a the Pimax HMD's and I noticed that a lot of people currently using it have equal or lesser systems than I do. I've got a G2, 32GB mem, I5-10600 and I get an "OK" video at an average 40FPS. While these people rave about how well the Pimax runs and the quality of the video. This leaves me asking the question, How does such a high end VR headset run so well?
  8. Skoop-Check out the option to program waypoint from the F10 map thats already built into the Viggin.
  9. Heres the track file of a test run I did. Target-Sakumi runway numbers Both sets of numbers taken of the same point from the F10 map at full zoom Waypoint 5- Entered as MGRS Waypoint 6- Entered as L/L percision Note the L/L coord in WPT 5. They were entered as MGRS. They don't match the L/L coord (WPT 6) taken from the F10 map. Note the MGRS coord in WPT 6. They were entered as L/L. They don't match the MGRS coord (WPT5) taken from the F10 map. Note that the MGRS WPT shows on target in the TGP where the L/L WPT show a little south and east. Turning around I set WPY 0 (spawn point) as my target. The TGP show a little north and a little east of the point. INS test.trk
  10. Contradiction-How can this be tagged as "correct as is" but Flappie says it will be fixed soon? There is noting "correct as is" about the system. I use the 8 digit system and still cant find my target with the TPOD. There is no way in Hell that I can make a pre plan precision drop.
  11. First...Why do the drop down selections shift. When I spawn in, sometimes the CTLD is on F4. Other times it's on F2. If I spawn in and CTLD is on F2 and I crash or die, I spawn back in in the same airframe, in the same slot, in the same arpt and now CTLD come up on F4. Really plays hell when your trying to use something like Voice Attack. Second...When I land why does the ATC dropdown come up randomly. Again it plays hell with Voice Attack if I have to grab the mouse and back out before I can issue a command.
  12. The first thing I would like to see is a complete manual. I just started using CA as a TAC Cmd this week and I already have 2 questions. IFV are troop carriers and yet I can't find anything on where to get the troop and how to load and unload them. The second is about the M978 Tanker. What does it do? I parked my Mi-8 next to it and tried to refuel...no go. Other round vehicles don't have gas gauges and I haven't seen any drop downs to request a refuel of anything from the tanker. BOTTOM LINE IS CA IS WORTHLESS IF YOU CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO USE IT.
  13. F-10 map coordinates are off. I tested using Al Qusayr in the F18 and using precision. Arpt data for Al Qusayr is.. N34.34.02.73 E36.35.07.49 @1729ft Putting the cursor over the arpt marker (runway center)the coordinates in the upper Left of the F10 map were.. BU 77213 27959 N34.34.02.73 E36.34.21.03 When I entered the MGRS into a waypoint the Lat/Lon converted to.. N34.34.15.68 E36.34.28.80 This did produce a TGP diamond on target and a GBU38 on target...this time. When I entered the Lat/Lon into a waypoint, the MGRS converted to.. BU 77088 27722 This produced a TGP diamond and a GBU38 50yds south of the rwy. When I entered the arpt data waypoint into the INS the TGP was on a spot just south of the runway and at the east end of the runway. When I turned back in on the bombing run the TGP diamond was now way short of target and moving. I found that during the turn the elevation of the waypoint had changed from 1729ft to 48ft. I extended and corrected the elevation of the waypoint. After tuning back in again I check the elevation only to find it had changed to 14ft. This really screws up any hope of using any preplanned bombing and need to be a top priority fix.
  14. Checked some other servers and got mixed results. Since I mainly fly on the same server most of the time, I asked that they check to see if more than one boat is squawking the same TACAN. It's only MP servers and only seems to be on the SC's. It may be an ED bug. My testing was done under 2000ft and within 15DME. I crisscrossed the area to see if the HSI icon matched where the SC was and the course line was tracking in the right place. Once the icon froze I couldn't fly to the TACAN icon anymore.
  15. I just wanted to check that ED is aware that the TACAN does not work correctly on the SC. The TACAN is transmitting and DME seems to be correct but the course indicator locks up and jumps back and forth making it impossible to find the boat with it.
  16. Glad it's work well for you. I can't take credit though, I just pulled together tid bits from others work and organized it into a single file.
  17. @formaggioI'll contact you on Discord. Maybe together we can figure out how to do what you want. I tried to friend you this morning but it failed. You can try to friend me at Ares#9243. And what is "VA"? If I know what it is I might be able to figure it out. I also checked on the WH/BH. It's called "Boresight/polarity switch".
  18. To find out if I've left any performance on the table I've begun playing with other setting, and the first one I choose is motion reprojection. If it is on any other setting but OFF the display looks like I'm looking through a sheet of falling water. This seems to be a strange thing to do and completely different than when I had MR turned on in SteamVR. Does anybody know the what and why of this? On a side note, what is the difference of turning on MR in the OpenXR tools and turning it on in game with the toolkit companion?
  19. I think I read someplace that Norbert doesn't accept patrons. Is there a way to support him? Other than DEVRiM English cockpit mods VRNS is the most useful mod I have.
  20. With the popularity of OpenXR increasing and people jumping over from SteamVR do you think that Norbert will port his gem of a mod to work with OpenXR?? I've tried going back to SteamVR and the visual quality is just not as good as with OpenXR. While I really want to use VRNeckSafer I prefer to see the other guy when in a furball.
  21. It also has the zoom function available. I haven't seen the marker move on the MFD but the view does change.
  22. Nope, no GUI's. There's just to many changes we like to make to suit ourselves for ED to make GUI's for them all. I do wish ED would make things consistent among the acft so that it was easier to find where to make the changes though.
  23. Follow the folder path down to DSPL_Symbology.lua. In the thrid section down you will find the thickness and fuzziness setting. Play with those to find what you like in the HMD. Now, the color of your IHADSS (HMD) is currently default. I can't see that against the sky so I changed mine to a neon orange. If you want to change yours drill down to the materials.lua. Down at line 244 you'll find HMD. Under that is "HMD_GREEN". I don't know how to add neon orange to the materials files and have the HMD call it so I change the definition of HMD_GREEN to the RGB code for neon orange (255, 95, 31, 255). Because of it's title I'm pretty sure that only the HMD color will be changed to neon orange.
  24. This is what mine looks like with the MOD installed. There is no "Custom" before the MOD unless another MOD created it.
