as requested images of normal cockpit and English cockpit in 2.2 alpha, the problem is excessive reflections so much so you can not see out of the hud in flight. normal razbam french cockpit.... english cockpit..... looking right rear..... looking up before closing cockpit Cheers Danielle
-
Just tried this in v2.2 and couldn't see out of the cockpit because of the insane reflections, but a friend of mine had very little, it turned out to be the english cockpit mod that was causing it, very little reflection with it switched off, but I like my english cockpit I hope Razbam get around to making one soon, mean time I've let gospadin know of this problem.

well its out with 3 options but no explanation what those 3 options are for?

But there are 2 carriers that I know of in game now, will we not be able to use these at all? And thanks for the replies about version releases people its much appreciated :)
-
So I don't see any of these YouTube privileged few with an early access module doing carrier landings or anything else on 1.5.7, does this mean its a restricted version or does it mean its only going to work on >2.1, big rumour of course that an update is imminent, but no mention in the modules info page that it won't work on 1.5.7, is it possible to get a clarification from one of the devs please, thanks

will this harrier be able to use BL755 cluster bombs?

last night while playing I had 2 crashes with low memory errors, there is no DCS crash log that I can find in saved games folder but the windows event viewer caught this. Windows successfully diagnosed a low virtual memory condition. The following programs consumed the most virtual memory: DCS.exe (19988) consumed 15124869120 bytes, firefox.exe (10824) consumed 657686528 bytes, and dwm.exe (13432) consumed 375566336 bytes. and this Windows successfully diagnosed a low virtual memory condition. The following programs consumed the most virtual memory: DCS.exe (2904) consumed 9187155968 bytes, dwm.exe (17192) consumed 406335488 bytes, and obs64.exe (11808) consumed 270573568 bytes. I have heard from 2 other people in the Grimreapers who have had the same error, has anyone else had this problem? Today I am oing to do a repair on the game to see if it fixes it but I thought I would start a thread in case anyone else has this problem it could offer a fix and also alert the devs if its a bigger problem. Thanks Edit: a repair of the install seems to have fixed the problem for myself and others :)

Game crashes after update.

try the repair option it should fix that or try running as administrator. -
you don't need to set Bx9 as it is set automatically when you set Bx8.

Thanks RagnarDa we appreciate the work, we found another bug but with the firing of the BK-90's in a certain loadout, we will put that in a separate thread for you, once again thanks for all your work.

I'm getting reports from my fellow wing men that you can connect to online servers with the open beta and use the new pfm su-33 in servers like open conflict, 104th etc, not sure if that is 100% as I'm off to sleep but if one of you lot out there would like to confirm it here I'm sure it would be appreciated.

Tested and found first by Shiftymover and replicated by myself. Fire RB-15 at a convoy then circle around fire second RB-15, first missile strikes and sinks a ship, second missile looks like its going for the same ship but as it has sunk the game just crashes to desk top, we have youtube video of this link will be posted as soon as I can. Tks :pilotfly: Edit: here is the youtube link to the short video test
-
looking at your cockpit you are too high, max launch altitude is 2000m your instruments say over 3000m.
-
FFS people give it a rest, "this isn't right" " that isn't right" "that doesn't have rounded corners" "the sound isn't correct". Stop behaving like 12 year olds, the video's all say its a work in progress, its in Alpha stage, once its released it will most likely be in Beta stage and once you buy it and fly it you can report bugs in the bug thread on the forum where they will be addressed in order of importance. To get this out there for us to enjoy some things may have to be compromised, and corners cut due to the way ED does things, like the viggens BK-90 clusters just making a big bang in multiplayer. So stop moaning about the slightest little thing you see in the test video's and wait until its released and you have flown it to moan about things that should have been done, but post it in the bugs thread so it can be addressed.

latest update, back up altimeter needles not moving.
Auntystatic replied to Auntystatic's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
Thank you Cobra, I love this aircraft the detail is outstanding, I stream with it nearly everyday and pass on my knowledge on to my viewers so that they may improve their flying, I first noticed this in the last beta and unfortunately thought that others (and beta testers) would have already reported this, I was wrong, so from now on I will run my own beta server when the beta's come out and thoroughly test and report on any issues I find, and I can report in the larest beta its all fixed as so I think is the english cockpit font issue, cheers -

I remember having an error like that a few weeks ago, it was my antivirus(AVG) inspecting the file thinking there was something dodgy with it, I hadto white list it in the end to allow it to update

Just been on after the update in a mission on my pc and the backup altimeter needles do not move when zeroing, I will do further testing with it to make sure its not something I'm doing. -
its very badly worded, I was expecting 60% off the list price of any module taking part in the bonus program :(

Or you could just do L-Alt+Y it allows you to cycle between Lat/Long and MGRS on the f10 map screen, no conversion needed
