  1. This keep happening to me, too.
  2. Yeah, I think it is my mini-stick on my Cougar. If it happens, I wiggle the stick and it will often stop. I have no idea how to move the waypoint back, though. Also, I must restart DCS at that point because my targeting pod, mavericks and sensors will go haywire whenever I try and use them. After I restart, the problem goes away--but only if I wiggle the mini-stick first before the restart. I have the stick bound to the sensor switch. I never have this issue with Falcon BMS.
  3. Can't wait to fly this bird.
  4. Yep, files are added. I attached two tracks from two different nights and also the mission and log. Thank you. Edit: I believe I have had DCS crash in Nevada, too, when testing weapons.
  5. I can reproduce this crash over and over and it is driving me insane. I am on a Liberation campaign mission, I have a TGP turned on, slewed to target, I then switch to Maverick but Maverick can't lock, so then I press the stores selector to select MK-20 Rockeyes. Crash. Every damn time. The crash is instant. There is no resolution. I am forced out of the sim. What gives? The log only reports: 2021-08-10 04:18:35.989 INFO EDCORE: try to write dump information 2021-08-10 04:18:35.991 INFO EDCORE: # -------------- 20210810-041836 -------------- 2021-08-10 04:18:35.992 INFO EDCORE: DCS/2.7.3.8494 (x86_64; Windows NT 10.0.19042) 2021-08-10 04:18:35.993 INFO EDCORE: J:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\AV8BNA\bin\AV8B_CPT.dll 2021-08-10 04:18:35.994 INFO EDCORE: # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 3D538463 00:00000000 Two tracks where this crash occurred can be downloaded here since they are too big to upload: https://mega.nz/file/SNFniaBS#7Edvr1JvHLsfrzFivXhpltz-06g-81XTvtppBIK4TC4 dcs.log liberation_nextturn.miz
  6. Switching to NAV instead of IFA doesn't completely fix this in the Caucuses 1995 Liberation campaign. When the bug occurs and somehow I manage to get the waypoints to stop moving by pressing random hotas buttons, once in flight and near target when using sensors, there's no way to ground stabilize the DMT or targeting pod once I create TOO points--instant, permanent drift sets in and acquiring a target becomes impossible. This is bizarre behavior watching these sensors start slewing in one direction to infinity without allowing me to override their behavior.
  7. I started flying Liberation campaigns and I have noticed a major problem with the AV-8b... I am on a carrier, I do SEA alignment to a T to Chuck's guide, and even if I do this flawlessly, when I switch over to IFA after aligning, all of my nav points begin drifting, forever, away from me. They never stop moving, all my routes are shot, and everything is broken. What is going on? This is driving me insane. Once this begins, there is no way to re-align and no way to fix. The only solution is to start the sim again and hope the problem goes away. Something is broken, either in Razbam's AV-8b or with Liberation. I have reproduced this dozens of times.
  8. Ah this is very interesting, thank you. I did not realize the TOO button had this functionality. Great stuff.
  9. What I want to do is wipe 4 - 6 targets in one pass using laser guided FFARs, and the only way that makes sense to do this is to have these targets pre-designated as TGT waypoints that the targeting pod can slew to. Great. However, in practice, I can't find a way to set a TGT waypoint with the TGP. I think this can only be done with the DMT. However, when I have DMT on left MFD and TGP on right MFD, despite the TGP saying it is slaved to SOI, it doesn't track the DMT movement, and the TGT waypoints don't get assigned when I hold down the WPT increment button on my HOTAS. At best I might be able to assign two TGT waypoints. There has to be a way to do more, and efficiently, right? I'm beginning to feel that these laser guided FFARs are best for use against moving targets, rather than stationary ones, but it sure would be neat to pre-designate many targets from 20 - 30 miles out, dive and come in at treetop level only to pop up at about 7 - 10 nautical miles so I can rain laser guided fire down on an area before exiting the area nap of the Earth.
  10. I have a modded HOTAS Cougar with the UBER II NXT gimbals. These gimbals are very precise, have no detente in middle, no flat spot, are smooth completely throughout the entire range of motion. How do the Orion stick compare with these gimbals? Anyone here experience both? I'm debating the Orion vs. the Super Libra base and trying to figure out the difference.
  11. Same here! What is going on?!
  12. Yeah that first screen is amazing.
  13. So there's not a menu option anywhere to turn them back on?
  14. Just something I noticed. They've been replaced with semi-transparent textures a la Falcon. Where'd the super cool shadows on the glass go?
  15. I reinstalled everything fresh and now it works. I do have to sit at the screen on desktop for 10 - 15 seconds though... dunno what it is doing there and the Windows 7 spinning doughnut just spins around and round.
  16. Yeah I unticked disable aero. It still does it.
  17. I'm not sure what is wrong but in 1.22 when I click on fly a mission (after the briefing) it drops to desktop like normal... then sits there with the module box on the screen. And it continues to sit there. For a while. Like the program is not responding. After quite some time it will finally go to the loading screen (far longer than in the past dcs world beta) and then when it finally loads the jet/helocopter, I usually have to alt tab one or two more times to get the mouse/keyboard to actually respond in sim. To top things off--in Black Shark 2 the textures on the helocopter are toast. This isn't the case in A-10 but everything else as far as loading is weird with it... Ideas? I had one HELL of a time getting Black Shark 2's keys to authorize (I have the upgrade).
  18. I didn't ask it again, I asked it for the first time today. How do I uninstall the silly patch now that I have it installed so I can at least use DCS A-10 with World?
  19. That's pretty freaking lame if you ask me. I own it legitmately thus should be able to play it. > : (
  20. How do I use Black Shark 2 Upgrade with World? I'm getting an invalid hardware code error because I used the standard Black Shark 2 patch for World... but it doesn't work. How on earth can I use the upgrade? It's the same program, but not patch for it?
  21. I'm having this problem as well, but with DCS: World. I too have the Black Shark 2 Upgrade, however, there is no patch for the Black Shark 2 Upgrade for World, but there is for regular Black Shark 2. I don't know what to do. I want to use Black Shark 2 with DCS: World. Please help, thanks.
  22. How do I get it to acknowledge I have them installed so I can fly them in DCS World? It keeps telling me to buy them when I already have them and updated them to 1.11.
  23. My ant and elev pots on my Cougar spike enough that using either one of them as Zoom control is annoying--jittery screen... So, I'd like to set up zoom like I have in Falcon BMS--with the Mouse Wheel. Unfortunately, when I assign Mouse Z Axis in the axis config screen, it never works. Ever. If I go to axis viewer, the dot barely moves. There's got to be a secret, right?
  24. This is a neat profile, thanks--one question... big one... How do I ramp start using it and the Cougar throttle when the throttle won't budge at rest since I'm assuming you need to control each throttle separately? Any ideas? I can't get the darned throttle to move to spool up my engines, yet in instant action it moves fine.
  25. Ah, nice. Well thanks for the help, just gotta finish the d/l now and burn it to DVD before install.
