  1. What information can we glean from the signature management system found within the SS? Basically what is does it mean or what is it telling me?
  2. It will be way more advanced in the F-35.
  3. I'm a grey beard and I remember the early days with Jane's ATF and another developer that made JSF. I am very much looking forward to the F-35 coming to DCS. I am also hopeful of any core DCS improvements that may come about as a result of a player controlled stealth aircraft. Whether people are for or against the F-35 has nothing to do with their age or generation. It boils down to those who think ED can create an authentic experience and those that don't. Once you get passed that you have a crowd that are worried about the F-35 being "OP" as compared to the rest of the fleet. Mission Designer aside, some simply want to see something that can challenge the F-35 in the air. Finally you have those that are neither for, nor against the F-35's development, they just want more REDFOR FF modules. I would actually think us greybeards would be more into getting an F-35 module as many of us didn't think a quality combat simulation of the aforementioned aircraft would come out in our lifetime.
  4. They haven't finalized the list of munitions yet. It will probably boil down to the exact year and block they end up modeling. For the record, I agree that it would be a welcome addition.
  5. They don't know the exact version they are going to do just yet. As development progresses they will provide more details.
  6. Radar guided Hellfires are not well-suited to target individual persons, on foot, in an AO - nor is the Radar for that matter. That is why you have not seen them used a lot in actual combat the last two decades. If the US had been fighting a near-peer, or heck a traditional military force, they would have been more prominent. It's the same reasoning why pilots don't use A/G Radar much in the GWOT.
  7. For you UWHD peops out there....
  8. You CPU is okay, so you are fine there. You can look into overclocking it to squeeze out a little more performance. in your case I’d look into picking up a 1080Ti second hand as that would give you a nice boost.
  9. Tacview should have its own icon on your desktop, it is a separate program. When you run tacview it opens a new window and their you can open up a trk file to view.
  10. I would look at upgrading the RAM in the laptop to 16-32Gb. 8 is barely enough and you have to keep in mind your aGPU will be sharing the RAM with your system.
  11. Someone posted that they deleted their input folder for the A-10C II and it resolved a similar issue.
  12. Ensure you don't have the "Historical" Icon selected at the bottom of the ME. The A-10C II will not be available at all while that icon is selected. ED just needs to go in and set the time period the AC was available for. **EDIT** sniped by Arbil - I guess I took too long digging through the options to figure out what it was, nice find Arbil.
  13. ICE = Internal Combustion Engine.
  14. Right... Because ICE vehicles never catch fire and people never get stuck in them...
